Turgutreis is a town in Turkey about a 60-minute drive from Bodrum International Airport. It is the second largest town on the Bodrum peninsula and is part of that district, in Muğla. The town is a popular holiday destination with 5 kilometres of sandy beaches, waterfront restaurants and bars, and is considered a resort town.

It's in Bar Street. I always go here to watch the football. But also on my way home after eating somewhere. Last cold beer or raki to round the night off. Zafer is the owner and married to Kay an Irish lass. Best service going. Check it out? If you fancy eating, Zafer has no problem you bringing in a sarni or what ever.

If you're looking for a quiet spot on the Turkey coast skip Bodrum town and stay in Turgutreis. It's a lot quieter, has some lovely eateries, uncrowded Beaches and a clear view of Greece. If you were lucky like me and staying on a boat in the marina, then you can also go poolside if you're tired of the beach. Really fell in love with the place.

Every Saturday for this great "Fresh Food Market" in the market square. Just fantastic. I buy most of my fruit and veg here for the week, with many other great products from cheeses, olives, Turkish bread, lovely honey, dried figs, pine nuts, spices, Rose Turkish Delight and the best fresh eggs ever. Cross the main road for the cloths etc market. You will find good value items but check em first and do not pay the price. Barter, traders will love the it. But be firm.

Radio Bar is on Bar Street opposite the Mandalinci next door to Tash Bar.
Friendly sta.
staff, who are quire amusing and good and keeping you occupied, however this is an attempt to keep you in the bar buying drinks, this year I noticed a big increase in prices and after travelling to Turkey many many times was quire shocked that prices are now on a par with england

Great little bar, a little more expensive in drinks than other places but it doesn't work out much once you convert it.
All the guys are outrageous, adorable flirts and sit with you and keep you entertained. Specially Adam (Casanova), Bakky, Azat and sorry to all the other guys whose names we didn't get, you went out of your way to get everyone up dancing when we complained it was too quiet, your line dancing was hilarious.
Sorry we almost forgot to pay the bill when we had to quickly leave to get to the airport, we owe you about 30 lira, this will give us an excuse to come back and will pay you next time.
Thanks for a good time.

I am not a great fan of these markets - this one is big and full of stall holders doing their best to grab you and make a sale.
Rather go to the shops and be treated with some respect - I did not enjoy the experience here.

The sunset beach is one of the most popular place in Turgutreis/Bodrum waterfront. You can really admire there the sunset, going down between the Eagean Islands... And during the day you can use the very large and sandy beach.
Alongside the beach there are 3-4 good fish restaurants, and a Turkish kitchen one, namely Lapikant Restaurant, my favorite .

We visited Tash's bar everytime we went into Turgutreis!!! All the staff were very friendly and great fun.!
The cocktails were fab and drinks were all reasonably priced,i think this is the sort of bar that would appeal to all age's as the Seating is mainly outside its ok if you have children with you, also they have a selection of european beers... guiness, carlsberg, grolsh are a few that i can recall, these are more expensive than the local efes though.
If you like a dance the guys from the bar have a street dance they do and everyone is welcome to join in!!!Or just sit back and enjoy the fun of watching everybody else try to learn dance steps when they are half cut.!!! Great fun really nice guys.
