Always an enjoyable stay had at this little hotel, super service and friendly staff. I have stayed at this hotel countless times over the past 12 years and have always enjoyed it . Only critism is the pillows are to flat for my liking.

The Tobit.BamBoo! is the unique grill & bar-restaurant on the Tobit.Campus. In a special sub-tropical ambience you can expect delicious steaks and refreshing drinks. In the summertime the BamBoo! Beach Club is also the exclusive place to chill out and grill at sunset.

i slept in the golf hotel nearby and after a super jogging i was starving but looking for a german style food. So i decided to avoid the hotel's restaurant and i've tried to pick some ideas in the area. In reality there was not so much to pick....this was the one with the highest number of reviews and finally i took decision of trying it. I arrived around 9pm...so bit late and 2/3 tables busy. I felt little bit embarrassed and strange as not speaking in german too. In reality i found a hugging smile once in and a super funny girl(the owner) which we finally ended drinking some beers together.
As food i had a proper schnitzel with oven potatoes. But overall i was happy to spend the evening talking to these 2 girls...one in the kitchen and the other on the front which explained to me the detailed policy they're trying to develop in this part of the world. They are NOT looking for of having a restaurant doing something standard but specifically high quality of products....
In fact all started when i saw a main dish price at almost 40€(which is quite high even if living in London) but they gave to me the reason of that and what kind of food they wish to promote.
So if you are looking for something traditional but good....pay these 2 girls a visit and let me telling you and suggest what's the food to follow

Here you can get a good solid German meal. Especially Dutch people are viiting this place. The food is good, but the restaurant is a bit too big and boring.

A very nice koditorei in Ahaus very near an ancient castle in the middle of the town. We had a great coffee with super Tiramissu cake. A real taste explosion.

We have been here on uncountable occasions and it has never dissapointed us. We love the good German food, weather you eat outside under the big trees or inside with the roaring fire. They are open all day for all kinds of meals.
Sundays they service a big Sunday brunch with everything you can imagen, including a warm meal and dessert. Best part is, your table stays reserved, which makes it possible to go for a walk in the lovely surroundings between the meals.

I went to this Eiscafe, December 2015. My mother first brought me here when I was 2 year old, and again as a 10 year old. This time around I was 31 and it was just as wonderful as I remembered! Excellent service and clean surroundings. The way they present the Eis (gelato) is so fancy. Everything we had was SO good. The Eis was amazing. I believe they have other things on their menu... but I couldn't tell you what they were! All I had was the wonderful Eis.
