Nuku Spa offers a unique space in the valley. A spa where you can relax and enjoy the benefits of water. Discover the spectacular wellness facilities and evade the body and mind of stress and worries of everyday life. Heated Pool, Steam Bath, Frigidarium, Sequential Shower ...
Pretty cool spa facilities. Huge jacuzzi, and the rest of the thermal circuit was quite good too. Loved the ice room, so good for tired legs. I would have chosen a different Kind of music (more relaxing/spa-like) , but this is a personal preference. Relaxing experience, would recommend after a long day skiing.

My husband and I spent a few days in Vall d'Aran and had planned a few hikes. This one was our first, and it was the easiest of all.
You leave the car at a parking, cross a little bridge and walk up five minutes, to reach an esplanade from where you already see the waterfall. You can approach and there are a couple of balconies to take pictures of the waterfall. It's nice, and really easy to do, even if you had kids (it was packed with families, actually).
I also took a path that seemed to take you to the top of the waterfall, but instead it took me in and in into the forrest: wrong! I walked back and finally found that the right path goes almost straight up from the balconies area and you get there in 5 minutes more, although it's easy to miss: after reaching the edge of the cliff the path seems to continue uphill, but actually you want to take another path downhill along the cliff that is half hidden by bushes.
I finally found it after some walking, but it wasn't that impressive: it's much better to stay at the bottom and take pictures from there.
BTW, on the road back we stopped to pick up some wild baby strawberries: don't miss them if you are visiting in the summer!

After the journey up the mountain to finally arrive in the cold and cloud was a little disappointing. I am sure on a warm summer day it is slpendid, but I would not want to swim in the pond!! Brilliant views on a clear day.

I live nearby and have only just discovered how good these wines are. I'd always assumed supermarkets must be better for wines as they have more buying power, more resources, more tasters, etc. Well, they don't. Cave Beso has excellent wines and enthusiastic, voluble staff....MoreThanks a lot for your nice words. Day after day we try to give the best service to our clients.

We first did a two hours tour, and enjoyed so much the experience that decidednto book a one day tour (5-6h). Visiting the Pyrennees horse-riding is an unique experience. I really recommend it. On top, the owner of this place was very kind, and gave us a good deal (prices in the French Pyrinees are 20% lower, so I managed to get same fare as in France!).
The first day we did a 2 hr tour, and rode through la borda del Rei (Betlan), and the second day through la Tuca. The horses are OK. You do not need to be an experienced horse rider as the horses follow the guide, but better if you have ridden before as you need to feel confident in case one horse deviates a bit, or stops trying to eat, ...i really recommend the two-three hours tour!

Top score in all aspects for Kabi and their mountain guide Isidro. Did a full day of offpiste skiing in Baqueira and had one of the best runs ever in virgin knee deep powder. After this amazing run they had arranged with a snow mobile pick up that towed us back some 7 km to the nearest ski lift. Very professional and also extremely friendly.

Beautiful Church in the Square at Vielha, sits in a commanding position as the centre piece of the square.
