This is a former church now converted to a museum with a gift shop that sells various religious artifacts to include Catholic Bibles, Rosaries, Candles, Medals, Medallions, etc. It you like museums this is the place to go as there is a lot of history involved in what use to be a church. We were informed that no cameras are allowed but, upon taking a tour of the museum, there was an entranceway into the other side of the church where my wife and I visited in 2008, that was heavily damaged by the Bohol Earthquake. I would highly recommend the time to visit this Church & Museum.

I have lived in Bohol as a foreigner for 5 years now. I have shopped in the supermarket at ICM the entire time. Last night my wife and I were singled out among 20 plus people waiting in a "hand carry" only line. I had 7 items in a brow hand carry basket as did everyone else in the line. I had been waiting for 20 minutes already in line when the cashier made it a point to stop working, approach us as we were still 10 people back, and tell us we had to leave the line because we had the same basket all the other Filipinos in line had. As she said that other people put their baskets down and put their items in their hands, many had more items than i did. I had 7 items that I could carry in my hands.the truth is, workers at ICM are out of control when it comes to dealing with foreigners so tourist, be warned. There is a growing anti-foreigner sentiment in Bohol, with trikes, customer service and merchants. Be prepared to have to deal with that and have local Boholanos tell you they are so hospitable.

This mall is situated just at the city center. Government offices, banks, parks, Cathedral and some schools are within the vicinity and most accessible to go to Panglao island.
The Mall is designed in five levels, the underground level where the supermarket is found and the first level is the Atrium Center where some events happen on special occasions. There are restaurants, good bake shops and cinemas here. Department stores, specialty stores selling high-end products can also be found.
I like to visit here when we needed food and other stuff to be brought back to the resort. This is also the best place to grab some "pasalubong" for family and friends back home. In some cases when I cannot visit my hometown to get the original calamay, I can rely here in BQ Mall.
You cannot find Open Parking space here in BQ mall but there are private parking places nearby. In most cases I prefer the Gallares entrance to get a motorcab or a taxi. It is easy and quick here.

The blood compact monument was a small step on an otherwise larger tour. It doesn't really have much around it except for the monument itself. You'd have to have a decent tour guide explain it to you in greater detail to get its significance to the history of Bohol. It was decent overall, but not spectacular.
