We ate here twice, would've done more if we'd found it sooner! Excellent service starter came first then nain courses together, unlike other places we'd tried. Philippines veg curry and Thai green veg curry delicious. Great value and appreciate them having a v symbol on the menu for veggies after ordering vegetable chop suey in another place to find it had meat and fish in it!

Lovely little setting, cute and romantic.
We had the whiskey prawns and the blue cheese carbonara. Really tasty! Not the MOST amazing food I’ve ever eaten but the standards are way above most in Panglao.
Presentation was really nice.
The service was good too, waitresses were friendly which we are struggling to find here too!!

The critically acclaimed Saffron Restaurant at Amorita Resort is inspired by the seasons and specialties in Bohol. The all-day menu, developed by Chef Raphael Ongchiong, emphasizes freshness, clarity of ingredients, and local availability. Saffron offers a thoughtful reinterpretation of Boholano heritage cuisine, alongside a wide range of Continental and Asian food favorites. The Chef's culinary artistry is met with an excellent selection of wines, signature cocktails, and gourmet beverages. A 162-seat dining venue, Saffron is casual and welcoming, with a decor to match. Sea-inspired accent lighting, all-weather woven furniture, and hand-carved driftwood create a dramatic poolside ambiance that serves to elevate guests' dining experience.
Very nice dinner at the Saffron restaurant. I must say the service was really top notch, so we were pleasantly surprised. The food is also very good, portions are a bit small when it comes to the main dishes but the quality is there. Great evening

We enjoyed cocktails on the beach as we admired the sunset at this very good looking resort.
Afterwards we dined in the pleasant restaurant overlooking the beach, but we were disappointed – particularly after the excellent reviews which it has received. Of our 6 diners, 5 had lapu lapu or tuna and each dish was overcooked and dry. A pork dish was also overcooked and stringy. All dishes were oversalted and our granddaughter simply could not eat the spaghetti childrens’ dish as it was also far too salty. Entrees and desserts were adequate.
Whilst the service was quite good, for the prices charged the food should have been much better.

Our restaurant is a unique place: it was founded by Giuseppe, a Sicilian himself - and he managed to bring Sicilian flavours here to Bohol, where you don't expect to find them. When most people think of Italian cuisine, pasta and pizza usually come to mind first. But in our restaurant you will find not only traditional Italian oven pizza, pasta and risotto! We also offer great Sicilian food. Sicily is known for its seafood and meat dishes. If tender, juicy roasted or grilled meats are not what you're in the mood for, or if you're vegetarian, Sicilian and Italian cuisine has lots to offer you. In the menu, there's something for every fancy, from appetizers to solid main courses and mouthwatering Deserts, hot and cold. And, as you'd expect, there's a nice selection of wines and other alcoholic and soft beverages here. You can eat in, take out, or have hot pizzas delivered to your place. Giuseppe also caters for your dinner parties and other events. For those who want to cook something Italian at home, we have a nice Deli Shop in our restaurant with great variety of pasta, wine, cheese, olive oil and much more! So, drop by and you'll fall in love with Italian and Sicilian cuisine for all your life.
Whilst we enjoyed our meal here very much there were some hiccups. The menu is interesting and offers an extensive range of authentic Italian dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our parma ham and carpaccio entrees and pasta and risotto main courses. However, the restaurant was very busy and we felt that they needed more staff. We waited some time for our menus and for our order to be taken and then our pizza was forgotten. The apologetic waitress realised as we had almost finished our other mains and explained that the order had been mislaid at the pizza oven. We cancelled the pizza but to her credit the waitress then provided an excellent dessert for each of us at no cost. She was cheery and very obliging despite being very busy. We also enjoyed a good Italian wine although it was rather difficult to select as there was no wine list. Prices are quite expensive but we thought the quality of the food justified the premium and hope next time to try one of the delicious pizzas which we saw being served to other tables and which had been recommended to us.

With panoramic views of the Bohol Sea our signature restaurant Paprika offers travelers a world class experience. Located on the waters edge, guests can dine from the comfort of air-conditioned sea view rooms or the open air veranda.
The Tarsier paprika (not to confuse with the Tarsier Botanika in Alona) has breathtaking views overlooking the Bohol Sea. You can chose aircon or outdoor dining. But the best part of the meal was the food. Apparently they have a french chef working the kitchen and delivering mouth-watering dishes. Combined with great service, a full wine list, this restaurant is at the top of the list in Panglao Island.

This place is just a little eatery at the side of the road with a few 2 seater tables outside. There are a couple of young girls serving and we were told they would be doing the cooking, so we were a little worried about what the food would be like!
There was 6 of us eating so we ordered a selection of dishes from the menu and some drinks, we told the girls just to bring the food as and when each dish was ready as we were sharing.
Nachos supreme came first, fresh corn chips, nice sauces with a little spice, so far so good. Then we had the chicken fajitas, hot tortillas, lots of meat, rice and sauces, tasted fantastic. Burritos then arrived with tacos which unfortunately were the soft type, would have preferred the hard ones, but still the flavours were all good. Also ordered a couple of fries on the side which lovely and crispy fresh from the fryer.
I have eaten a lot of Mexican food in the UK and this was up there with the best ones, simple food, cooked really well with lots of flavours.
The two girls that served us were lovely, big smiles and great service, nothing was too much trouble for them.

As a lover of proper Italian food, I had my doubts about this place before going. How wrong I was. Alesandro is the owner and also one of the chefs. And a great host too! We had pizza, pasta, cheese, wine, bread, tiramisu. Everything prepared and served to perfection. The restaurant is open air and relaxed and just so lovely. I will definitely be back when he says he has made some Pasta Fagioli! 10/10!!!

Friendly English cafe 5 minutes walk from Alona Beach - situated in a quiet street off the main road and next to the Regents Park Hotel, Alona. Family friendly and a great stop for back packers. Coffee is good and the cafe has an English Style menu with favorites like Beans on Toast etc. Full English and Filipino Breakfast available all day. Panini Choices, Fresh Salads & French Baguettes are a special feature. PIZZA. You can also have porridge and cornflakes for breakfast. Some limited Vegan Options - we try to accommodate but please remember we are an English Cafe selling quick simple food. We do not guarantee anything as Gluten Free. Menu is mainly English Cafe style with solid favourites. Although we have a few vegan options to help mixed groups we are not a Vegan Restaurant. Postings saying we are Vegan and Gluten Free have been put on by customers based on their experiences - not by the owners.
We were staying down the road where breakfast was included but it was so poor we decided to try Nikita's. Great service and a real British Breakfast at reasonable prices. I wish we had found it earlier we would have eaten here every day. The...MoreYour kind words of appreciation mean a lot to us. Thank you. David

I am surprised they are not busier. Mind you we did not go at breakfast which is probably their busiest time. It's a small cafe or restaurant with indoor and outdoor Seating on the main road. Menu is smalk but enough with good options. Reasonably priced. Very clean and fast wifi. Fresh and tasty. The teas are particularly nice. After a month travelling in the Philippines, I was craving a good cup of tea. Peaceful to relax, watch the world go by, enjoy the air con and wifi over bread and hot drinks. Light music and cosy atmosphere. They do take away as well. My only negative was the staff. The first time they were friendly but very loud, shouting across the restaurant and loudly having conversations when customers were relaxing. The second time they were in a 'I can't be bothered to move or serve'. Overall, good cafe and would recommend.
