Contains a wealth of different architectural styles from the 17th century onwards; best known for being the oldest Anglican Church outside the British Isles.
The oldest surviving Anglican church outside of the UK, St Peter's Church in historic old St George's Bermuda is a beautiful example of old world architecture. Entry can be gained either through the front from York Street (climb the steps for a grand entrance - then look back) or through the rear from Church Lane via the churchyard. Be sure to wander slowly through the interior to admire the rich timber structure, the fine collection of communion silver and the beautiful old pipe organ. Take a seat in one of the pews to experience the peaceful ambience of the church interior and then move outside and take a stroll through the two historic graveyards. Take time to read some of the headstone inscriptions to enhance this wonderful historical experience. No wonder the church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This was my favorite stop in Bermuda, and it was free! I guess it gets pretty crowded, but we had scooters and got here pretty early in the morning, was only a couple other people around. The most picturesque setting you can imagine, a sparkling blue pool, surrounded by caves and jungle. Several different spots to jump from. Found some trails with caves, still not sure if we saw everything, there's no markers or signs, if I had it to do over I'd print a map of the trails. Also, no facilities that I noticed, so wear your bathing suit if your going swimming. We stopped for lunch at the Swizzle Inn afterwards, it was only a couple blocks away.

Fort turned history museum, featuring an exhibit called "Highlights in Bermuda's History."
Worth the long walk from downtown St.Georges to see this centuries old fort with a museum, a labyrinth of underground passages, powder magazines, cannons etc. Kids will love romping around. Beautiful ocean views including watching a big cruise ship heading into Bermuda harbor. Would have been good to take a guided tour. Walk back to town feels long so plan on a taxi.

Travel 120 feet below the earth's surface and explore subterranean lakes and passageways.
We decided to take the Crystal Caves tour, which is a $20 plus ticket for about a 25 minute tour. This is the more popular of the two cave tours. After a short descent, you walk along a floating dock to observe stalagtites and stalagmites up close and personal. We have been on numerous other cave tours in various locations, and this is nothing spectacular, but a pleasant visit while exploring Bermuda. We were visiting in the off season, but the tour guide mentioned that during the summer, the other cave, Fantasy Cave, becomes very hot and humid. During the peak season, the caves become very popular and crowded, just so you know! We took Bus 1 from Hamilton, and it is an easy walk from the bus stop. Nice grounds as well. So, this is not a MUST SEE, but a nice attraction to look into.

So we went here in January. No restaurant, the facility was closed, it was just the beach and the snorkeling. The snorkeling was amazing. The views here a beautiful and I would recommend it to most. Having stated that, I have heard that this is very busy in season and may not be for some. I cannot comment on that.

If you're looking for a fun day on the water, let the friendly staff at Blue Hole Water Sports show you how. We rent 13ft Boston Whalers (max 4 people) outfitted with steering consoles and Bimini tops, complimentary snorkel gear and coolers included. We also offer Sunfish Sail Boats, Windsurfers (for the beginner and advanced), single and double kayaks, and new our line up of Stand Up Paddle Boards. All at Bermuda's best rates. We are located on the east end of the island, just two minutes from the airport at the Beach of Grotto Bay Hotel.
We had the All -Inclusive Plan at Grotto Bay Beach Resort it included all NON MOTORIZED water sport equipment which was a great deal! A beautiful special beach and aqua clear water in the cove/bay by the resort. While we were waiting to be taken care of it started to lightly rain, so we went inside and sat down in the building, A female employee slammed both doors, cutting off the nice breeze and she refused to turn on the fans. I asked if we could open the doors or turn on the fans,(it was hardly raining). She said the doors swell and are difficult to open and close; it was about 100 degrees inside and so was the humidity (we are from Sarasota, FL) so the doors were more important than over heating 4 mature adults! Due to her rude behavior we decided to do something else and never got to use the equipment that day. The next day we went back and found the male employees much nicer and accomodating.

Located in the center of St. George parish, this square contains stocks, a pillory and a whipping post, replicas of those used to punish criminals over 400 years ago.
I am not sure of the times, but this place puts on a presentation with real actors. The situation is a mock trial of a suspected witch dunking.

Bermuda's oldest and most famous pub.
We came down with 30 friends to run the Bermuda Triangle challenge and we were there several times since it was walking distance from our hotel
THERESA was a great waitress and very accommodating. I had the wahoo one time (so good) and another kind of fish another time.
Great for gluten free and paleo. And hubby enjoyed his rum swizzles.

Poor planning, insufficient funds and natural disasters prevented the completion of this church, thus called the Unfinished Cathedral.
Just up the hill, a little out of St George's lies the unfinished Cathedral. A real shame you can't get inside now due to health and safety concerns so photo opportunities are limited.

Located at the heart of St. George, this plaza features stocks, a pillory and a duckings stool.
Sorry, I don't know what the big deal is. The square itself is okay, but the reenactments only take place certain times and days, so we missed that boat. However, it was very welcoming hearing Billy Idol. You'd think that you would hear island music...but you don't. Walk around the square and branch out towards the Beaches...it's one heck of a walk in the heat, but it's worth it. Bring comfy shoes!
