Son Bou Scuba is an expanding Dutch/German run dive centre (PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, BSAC Resort Centre) and dive shop. The centre is ideally situated on the South coast, giving access to the island's best dive sites, regardless of the weather conditions. We organize daily boat- and shore dives to the best sites Menorca has on offer! Menorca offers excellent diving, with 30 mt. visibility in warm water, stunning caves (such as Pont d'en Gil cavern, Swiss Cheese, La Catedral, Moon Pool, the Belltower) as well as wrecks (Ocean Diver, Malakoff, General Chanzy and the JU88). For beginners, we offer half-day Discover Scuba excursions on a daily basis - from 10 years onwards. **We speak Spanish - English - German - French - Dutch and Italian**

My son and daughter have just completed their PADI Open Water Scuba Diving course with Son Bou Scuba. They did a Discover Scuba with them last year and enjoyed it so much that they wanted to learn to dive. Having been a PADI Instructor myself and diving with Son Bou Scuba I had no hesitation for them to dive with the team here. Both Joop and Muriel have lots of experience and have been based here for many years. It is always a pleasure to dive with them. Well done Guys. See you next year

We spent a lovely afternoon on the beach at Son Bou. The water was crystal clear. The beach lovely soft white sand, perfect for building sand Castles. You reach the beach from the resort by wooden board walks. Which make access easy even with a pushchair. There is a nice cafe/bar directly behind the beach. The lager served in huge mugs which both surprised and pleased my husband and his friend. It also provided good toilet facilities and showers, really useful with small children. We didn't use the sunbeds but could be rented out if needed. Life guard station was fully manned with basic first aid available, the small jellyfish stings seemed to be a regular occurrence, although we didn't experience any stings. Would definitely recommend a visit to this beach and resort.

It's a TIKI bar in Menorca, Spain that caters to tourists. So, with that kind of authenticity and focus, what can you expect? Advice: good place if you are with your friends looking for a sweet mixed drink that comes in a goofy glass.

Lovely beach we have walked to several times from Cala Mitjana. Quite a steep climb
to begin with but lovely walk through flower meadows before dropping down again to
Trebaluger. Very quiet most of the time but go early because tripper boats disgorge
their visitors from late morning/ lunchtime and then it's busy. If you are a bird watcher
we have seen bee eaters behind the beach and there is a rock formation in the cliff
that looks like a huge frog!

We walked to this bay from Cala Galdana in about half an hour. There are no facilities except for some toilets nearby. It is very popular with families as it is safe swimming with a gently sloping beach into the sea.
It is well worth a visit.

Every night finished off here for us. I'm not a drinker but their cappuccino is out of this world. The others enjoyed trying different cocktails each night. Great service and a very relaxed, chilled feel?

Such wonderful walks to be had, totally unspoiled Beaches, clear warm waters and always a lifeguard on duty. The sea though is quite safe and shallow, I'm no swimmer but could walk out at least 50 yards safely

All the tourists that visit Menorca go here because their guide books tell them to do so. So did we, and it was quite disappointing. During the day you pay 9 euros, only to get in the restaurant. And what you see is ok, but not really worth the money. Most people pay, get their free soda or beer (included in the entrance fee), take a picture and leave. If I knew this before, I would have skipped this tourist trap! Maybe in the night it is a bit better, with music etc.

This place is great lots of restaurants, shops. Plenty of free parking does get busy. Beach is gorgeous lots of sunbeds €6.00 for the day parking also by the beach free a Taverna on the beach if you fancy a coffee or lunch. We didn't eat or drink there so can't say whether it is good or bad. Sea is quite rough at times but lovely would recommend that you try this place
