As the first place in Spain to see the sunrise, Minorca is like the country’s ambassador to the morning. Beaches here are beautiful and, surprisingly, relatively empty. The jewel-colored water is a magnet for waterskiers, windsurfers and sailors. Playa De Binigaus beach is perfect for families, while Cala Mitjana is an idyllic spot for romance. Head to the town of Alaoir to nibble on some fresh local cheese or turn back time in the charming fishing village of Fornells.

What a find!
Delightfully romantic setting in quiet, rural location.
The background music, scented air, candlelit tables and floral surroundings left us in no doubt that this would be a special experience.
The menu was interesting and well balanced with fish, meat and vegetarian options available. Be advised that the portions here are very generous and it would be a pity to miss out on the delicious homemade desserts on offer.
We plan to make a return visit soon and hope to stay overnight in one of the nine rooms available at this lovely resort.

So we ate at Ca Na Marga last night with some friends who live on the Island and they recommended this restaurant. Anyone who enjoys superb quality food, competitive pricing and great service should definitely visit here.
The quality of the BBQ meat is sensational, the Deserts are stunning to. It offers a very relaxed atmosphere in very comfortable and spacious surroundings.
Definitely will be visiting again on our next trip to Menorca.

Just eaten in here tonight, driven 40mins to go after brilliant TA reviews we'll I'm sorry but I had the prawns as nice as they were (25)e for 6was very steep, then we had the lobster paella which worked out 70euros for two I also thought was over the top as this place has no views of harbour just on a backstreet, the young waiter made lots of mistakes & even dropped some of the paella over the table, not impressed eaten in better places!!!

The Nelsons Gastropub is a friendly local pub that serves fantastic food and drink. It caters for all the family with its huge outdoor Terrace and play area. It has sky tv that shows football rugby boxing so that you can enjoy your meal and pint and not miss the game. There is a pool table and air hockey tables for all the families enjoyment. For the little kids we have a play zone in the shade. We have a fantastic new menu designed by our head chef. He has recognised the the tastes of all his diner from young and old. We have steaks, poultry, pastas and glorious seafood. Our specialities are fish & chips, curries, Sundays we serve the best roast dinner on the Island. Yo must try our delicious freshly made desserts, they are fantastic. The bar serves Estrella, Turia ,Bok Damm, Magners cider, Carling & Free Damm for the drivers. As well as a good selection of bottled beers. The bar has nearly every spirit you can imagine and the new cocktail menu that is incredible.
Visited with friends whilst staying on the island for an evening meal. This is a very "quirky " gastropub offering both inside and outside Seating areas. It is a bit off the beaten track but well worth a visit. Drinks order taken (at very reasonable prices) we settled back to peruse the extensive menu being a mixture of British/Spanish plates where I am sure you would find something to your taste. I ordered the Spanish chorizo with halloumi cheese being served to the table piping hot and of good quantity. The other starters were 3 x classic prawn cocktail,s again declared delicious and of good quantity.
For my main I enjoyed an excellent portion of fish and chips with other orders being a mushroom and pea risotto, chicken, ham and leek pie and a shepherds pie. All portions were very generous so much so that the girls ended up sharing the risotto (which was declared as one of the best) and us taking the shepherd pie home in a "doggy bag" (this was polished off at lunch the next day at our villa and declared, yes you've guessed it - delicious! The plate that had contained the chicken and ham pie would have required little dishwashing the plate being literally scraped clean! All dishes were delivered to the table piping hot.
The venue offered an excellent range of beers/lagers and wine etc and as mentioned at very reasonable prices. The food prices again reflected excellent Value both in terms of quality and quantity.
Excellent staff who were friendly, attentive and engaging coupled with a quirky venue delivering excellent food means that a return visit is already pencilled in for next year!
Go and enjoy! Highly recommended.

My husband and I went here 4 nights in a row. We shared a range of dishes and would not fault any of them. Such delicious food. Our favourites were the prawn skewers, artichokes, the cod and Russian salad. Most importantly you need to leave room for the best carrot cake we had ever eaten for dessert.
No where else we ate came close to this standard and it was such a bargain compared to the tourist traps. Highly recommend!!! But suggest you book.

It starts with the name and continues. We went on the basis of great reviews but we were surprised when we arrived as this place looks nothing like what we have previously experienced of a "Brasserie". The decor is quite eclectic with a wide variety of different art and crafts on the walls which were also for sale. Created a strange setting.
The people there were very friendly but very casual which, again, didn't create a brasserie type feel.
The menu is also very varied - from spring rolls to roast lamb. The food we had though was very nice and well cooked. The roast potatoes were frozen I believe but were fine.
We felt that it was a bit pricey for what it was and we were disappointed as had been expecting a more traditional Brasserie. The food was good but overall not really our thing so wouldn't go back.

A lovely resturant with delicious food and great service. We started with the foccacia and vitello tonnato, followed by pizza (super thin and crispy crust) and pasta. Everything was amazing! The best way to do it is to order some different dishes and share as they're brought to the table (they have a small kitchen, so it's difficult to have dishes for everyone at the table ready at the same time). I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will definitely go back if I ever return to Menorca!

It’s always pleasing to come back to a place of which one has fond memories, and find it to be at least as good, if not improved. Therefore it was most encouraging to find my dinner at El Muelle was every bit as delicious as my memory of a meal enjoyed in the preceding year.
I was especially taken with the superb steak cookery here, and once again my generous fillet steak was cooked exactly to preference, accompanied neatly by perfectly cooked tiny vegetables and sautéed potatoes. The house red was an unctuous Ribera del Duero which particularly pleased me as I had asked for that last year, only to be denied. So that’s a plus point!
El Muelle may not occupy the very best spot on Mahon’s waterfront but I must say everything else is spot on, with friendly service, fair prices and excellent food which runs from the aforementioned steak, which has something of a South American twist, to fresh local fish and meat and some tempting desserts.

Vegetarian RESTAURANT and vegan Restaurant, GLUTEN FREE, coffee, tea, meals, dinner.
The food here was disappointing. It was mainly unimaginative Italian dishes. We went after watching the sunset at St. Nicholas watchtower, which is less than 10 minutes away, but would not recommend making a special trip from the historic town center, which is about 20 minutes away.
