From Soko Banja till the parking place with a restaurant and many possibilities for picknick it is rather easy to walk. About 3 km from the center of the village. The last km is difficult because you really have to climb and the walking path is far from egal. My advice is to wear good shoes (not especially for Mountains but strong enough) and be prepared to some physical efforts. The ruins of the castle are interesting but not fenomenal. The eyesight is beautiful.

With friends and our youngest son we have visited during a weekend the beautiful village of Soko Banja. On Sunday we have visited the Qqua Park that has been opened in 2013. It has several swimming pools and everything is very clean. The costs are around 3 euro's pro person.

Serbia has many artificial lakes. Every year the facilities around this lakes enlarge. The water is very clean and the lakes like Bovan are surrounded by Mountains and hills. If you like to swim or other kinds of watersport or fishing, Bovansko Jezero is a beautiful lake to spend some days. In the neighbourhood is the village of Soko Banja with several accommodations and good restaurants.
