Spa Regeneration Besson

I have read all of the critical reviews on here and don't recognise them as describing the same place! Very odd. An example, someone did not bring towels from the hotel, the hostess said they should have, but could have spa towels, if they could just bring their hotel towels next time (seemed fair enough)! Facilities all in good order, had an excellent massage from the male masseur (my wife had only a fair one from the female), nothing wrong in change rooms, or with any of the spa elements, they were all most enjoyable (and the wife is VERY fussy about these things). Was free with the Grand Hotel Besson stay, so that helped, I'm sure, but we very much enjoyed all the facilities and used every day throughout our stay.

Val Tronchea national park, it enjoys the kind of peace and tranquillity unknown to its ski-boots-on-tables, après-ski neighbours from hell. With Val Tronchea Park so near, there is also plenty of walking and snow trekking to be done. One of the legacies from the Turin 2006 Winter Olympics is a fantastic cross-country skiing network, this is an experience not to be missed we laughed and laughed till we fell over.

We have been going snowboarding as a family (myself, wife and daughter) for a few years now and are all varying degrees of "intermediate" boarders. Not having had lessons for some time we decided to try Yes. I emailed Frederica at Yes who was extremely quick at responding with all of the options that we could take and was very helpful; I had a quick look at the reviews on trip advisor (5 stars across the board) and then booked the week camp.
We were not disappointed!
All of the team that we met there were friendly and spoke good English. Our instructor Andrea is a great guy and a ninja on the snow!
Our aim for the trip was to improve our general riding and flatland skills and included switch riding, spins, presses, ollies and 180's. We also had a session free riding on one of our powder days, which was immense and a day in the park.
Andrea pushed us to the extent of what we could do both physically and skill-wise; he was always sympathetic to our need for a break, should we need it - New Years Day being a case in point - and was very encouraging with us all. It was also useful to have Andrea guide us on the best runs, including some off piste tree runs, which enabled us to go off by ourselves on the last day for some great fun in the powder!
We all came away feeling that we had shown considerable progression, which we would not have got from riding ourselves. We can't thank Andrea and the guys at Yes enough; if we return to Sestriere again we will definitely use them again.

Experience the thrill of walking the longest Tibetan bridge in the world, suspended inside a canyon for 468 meters !!! Come and visit us, at the village of Claviere (TO) Italy

Reviewed By Robby_Cristian - Calgary, Canada

The Tibetan Bridge over the San Gervasio gorge is a real treat, an experience of a lifetime. Highly recomended!!
It's around 500m long, having 1,350 sleppers at 40 to 80 metres from the bottom of San Gervasio canyon. There is no solid pylon on the course of the bridge, just steel cables that anchor the bridge from the canyon high walls. This marvelous engineering was completed in 2006. The locals say it is the longest Tibetan Bridge in the world.
The feeling is great, you walk safety anchored off the whole passing time, above the canyon and savour the unsploiled wild beauty.
Once you get your tickets, give yourself around 1h 1/2 - 2 hour to complete the tour. Pay attention on the safety briefing and learn how a double carabiner system works. After the staff will help you to put on the safety harness, you're ready to go. There is a 15 minutes walk from the ticket office to the chalet where you'll start your suspended adventure. The first sight of the bridge may challenge you mentally, but after a few steps you'll be just fine. For your safety, always use properly the double carabiner system, that means at least one carabiner must keep you clipped on the obove steel cable.
Ponte Tibetano: read about it, dream of it, make it happen! Have lots of fun!!

SIX MOST WONDERFUL DAYS OF FULL ON SKI ACTION.
There are enough runs to challenge the best of skiers and enough mountain cafes and restaurants to keep you fed and watered too.
THE SKIING down to San Sicario ....off to the left...is amazing. Very few people bother with the lesser routes and off times you can ski solo.
AMAZING SPOT.
Stay up in Sportinia.
