This is not your typical tourist attraction restaurant, I think this is what made it so great. Our waitress wasn't as fluent with English so the chef came out to answer our questions. Order the meat and cheese appetizer, you can't go wrong with this platter. It is filling and high quality, the honey just topped it off even more. Bread and breadsticks served in a paper bag, was a great tip for home parties. Meal was just as delicious, but all I could think about was returning again and again for the appetizer. I had a penne with ham and brie, sounds strange but one of the most flavorful pasta dishes during my entire stay in Italy. Others had whole fish and tuna coated with sesame seeds, all equally good, but very happy with my pasta. No room after this for dessert or coffee. Ask for the local wines, quite good.

After cycling a whole day and not having possibility to have dinner at Hotel Regina´s restaurant we went to second best restaurant in Pinerolo, as we were told, La Mimosa Bistrot. It was really good and tasty choice, and also quite expensive, but worth of it. Wine list had many good options and we were recommended to have certain wines with our dinner. Especially I remember my antipasto "Vitello tonnato".

We stayed in northern Italy for one week and ate in many good restaurants around Alba and Barolo. We also attended our friends' beautiful wedding where the food was excellent. However, Il Gallo dei Don was personally my favourite food experience of the week. The setting (an agriturismo farm) was relaxed and informal and the family / staff were welcoming and very helpful in translating some of the menu. The menu comprised four courses with wine, water and coffee. We also had a bottle of Prosecco. We ate cured meats, risotto of saltimbocca and borage (i think?), smoked trout ravioli, pork with a light fennel gravy, hazelnut cake and semifreddo. All the dishes were full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The total cost for four adults was I think about 85 euros, which is amazing value for such lovely local home cooked food.

It's a small restaurant but verry busy i supposed.I really enjoy the sea food so my italian friends decided to bring me there. I appreciated "Spagetti allo scoglio" far away from the sea! nice place!

Modern decor, spacious interior, attentive staff and excellent food. That is pretty much sums up this place. I visited here on a business dinner and was excellent, from start to finish, some of the best refined Italian food have ever eaten of course this comes at a cost but for a special dinner it is worth it. Each dish was excellent, fresh tasty and well presented. This food really did blow me away in particular the locally sourced beef and the sea bass ravolli.

This place will awe you and beat you up.. such is the amount of courses served, and the waitresses will keep coming back for more... from fantastic antipasti such as vitello tonnato, peperoni con bagna cauda, parmigiana di melanzane to various pastas to, al last, fritto misto alla piemontese, in all its succulent variations and then more, with meats or fish and dessert at the end, this place will humble you for the amount of food served and the fine quality of the ingredients. A definite must for all who want to enter a different time, when productions like these underscored major events in farming families, such as weddings, on one side, but also wheat harvesting; grape harvesting; pig slaughtering, etc. and now are patronized by those that have the memories and the desire to taste good cooking nontheless, without the capability to make it perhaps..

Io
Trattoria semplice e caruccia, sovraffollata. Scelta tra 3 primi e 3/4 secondi, contorno ultraclassico tipo spinaci, patate o carote (w la fantasia!). Piatti di media porzione, niente di che, tipo mensa. Costo 13 euro. Servizio abbastanza rapido nonostante la folla.

After walking around in Pinerolo, which is a very nice town, we passed this gelateria and did not regret. They had a good choise of proper ice cream. Very tasteful.
