Wonderful winery. Beautiful setting with lots of shade and tables/chairs and grass for children to run. You can see all the oak barrels up close and meet Amelie the winery cat (who posed beautifully for photos). The staff were fantastic and took their time to allow visitors to taste as many wines as they wanted. A good choice or reds, whites and fortified wines. Well worth a visit.

The locals in this area look after each other and they help visitors to learn more about the location. I visited here because a local woman noticed my dog, an Italian Greyhound, and suggested I drop in to Gooramadda where the owners have the same type of dog. They also have marvelous olives! I learned a lot about olive production & bought enough oil to last for six months. Definitely worth a visit.

Chambers Rosewood Winery

This rustic cellar door in the backstreets of Rutherglen is housed in a collection of rusty corrugated buildings. We have no Muzac and our idea of mood lighting is when the fluro doesn't come on. In spite of this the readers of Gourmet Traveller WINE magazine voted this as Australia's Top Cellar Door,in June/July 2012. We look forward to welcoming you.

We were doing the Rutherglen wine trail and dropped into Chambers. This is quite different to many of the more commercial wineries around and so have a down to earth flair. They have some alternate blends that others in the area don't have. Well worth the visit
