Antiguo valle glacial, en Escocia, famoso por sus "paralel roads", marcas del hielo en la roca de distintas épocas glaciares
We were staying at Roy Bridge and passed the sign to this ice-age scene every day. I had a spare morning and drove up to the viewpoint which is about 3 miles from the main road.
Worth a side trip, nice viewpoint, great place to stay in a campervan overnight, silent and secluded. Other people parked there to walk around the valley, I just took a few photos and came back. Good information board telling the story of Charles Darwin when he visited (expecting to find sea shells on the ridge lines). Three very distinct lines along the valley sides.

We stumbled upon this by accident. The church was stone and obviously old. It's really scenic there, and we would have spent more than fifteen minutes looking at the tombstones had it not started raining. It was quite interesting.
If only for the views, it's worth a visit here.

Tulloch Ringing Centre is a privately owned Scottish ringing centre, which contains the most northerly ring of 12 bells. The bells are available 24/7, 365 days a year. Come for a grab, a ringing course, a peal, an outing or just to look. Lots to do for non-ringing Klingons of all ages.
A wonderful venue for a ringing week. Easy going bells, good facilities and excellent hospitality from the owners. A goos place to bring on learners, as the bells are so easy to handle and hear. I would recommend a trip for towers, associations or just groups of friends. Whilst not ringing, there is some wonderful countryside to explore or just relax by the efficient log burner in the the rest area. Kitchen facilities are well equipped and easily accessible.

Went to Strath Cottage at the end of July and couldn't have asked for much better. The farm itself is full of friendly animals, such as the horses and dogs. So much help was given from any whom lived on the farm. Watch for the horseflys though, they do bite a little!
