going to the lighthouse is a must do experience in Cabo Polonio. It's very cheap and not impossible to go up, but a bit claustrophobic. Anyways, great view and you can see all the village and the sea lions.

We tasted the olive oil, wine , visit the olivetrees, and received a full explanation of the whole project with its origin and prospects, even agronomic features . The investment in the reception of guests is very high, with rooms, films, eletronic moving pannels. Architecture is not neglected. A program for a whole afternoon.
There are other activities based on the place which we did not have the time to enlist; a pity. When the vines get a little older, the quality of the wines will be even better.
The olive oil sampled was a very good surprise. That alone would justify the visit

This is not a big party town. It is small and quiet and quaint. Nice restaurants and amazing Beaches that stretch for kilometers in both directions. We are returning for a longer relaxing stay.

I absolutely loved this town. It had a great combination of families and young adults. Everything was was walkable and they shut down the Main Street to automobiles at night. We found delicious restaurants and beautiful Beaches. There was also an ATM and small mini-markets for groceries. We were only there for 3 days but I wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a point of land that has beautiful Beaches and a small hippie comunity. There is now a new visitor center at km 264 1/2 on Ruta 10 where you buy tickets to ride trucks over the dunes to get to the Beaches. No vehicles can drive out there other than these authorized trucks. Great unspoiled destination.

Best hippie place in Uruguay. Awesome and quiet place to take a break from the noise of the city and spend time in nice Beaches with giant dunes. The town is full of colors and at night you can see a sky full of stars

Praia situada na parte sul de La Paloma muito utilizada pelos surfistas por causa de suas ondas fortes.
Tem boa faixa de areia, sendo mais bonita que a praia do centro que tem o farol.
