This is first of all an atmosphere place - great view is a nice bonus. The harp itself had its strings, but they were removed in 50-s, now the music is being played from the speakers, but it's still great. Music is very relaxing and you can feel harmony there.

One of the many look-outs around Pyatigorsk's Mashuk mountain. This one is directly above the old mineral water spa region. The eagle monument is adjacent to it. Worth the walk to enjoy the view.

Remember this is not the exact spot, which is unknown. The only attraction is the monument with some tourists having too much attraction to the stone and little respect to the idea of the memorial.

This underground lake, created by nature, is filled with hot Springs and is one of a kind. It doesn't smell like the best perfume =) but it's a must visit! At night during the vacation period they do Concerts in front of it. And of course you can enjoy they views of the city from the top of the mountain!

One of the biggest and definitely the most beautiful park in town. It has gorgeous apricot sand which makes park look very cozy and pretty. In the center of the park you will see wonderful iron building - Lermontov Gallery, from the beginning of the 20th century. Definitely visit the building to feel its beauty.

Definitely worth going up Mashuk, if the weather is good. I was told it is possible to see Elbrus on a good day. (Europe's highest mountain)
500m above Pyatigorsk, with a path around the summit, allows views in all directions.

The museum itself may not be as impressive as if you take a tour. Free hint: the group tour is available for extra 100 roubles at 3PM and it is a must. Otherwise you need to be an expert to appreciate the exhibition.
The guides are very different. We saw two and one was a definite must while the other was pretty average. Still any tour is highly recommended. the best thing to accompany the visit would be some Reading, of course. Having a background the museum is a definite attraction point.
The adjoined museum of Alabyev is smaller, but again well worth visiting with the tour.
