Known as Stalingrad during much of the Soviet era, Volgograd is now an important industrial city of just over a million people. During World War II, the hill of Mamayev Kurgan was one of the bloodiest locales of the Battle of Stalingrad (the deadliest battle in history, claiming a million and a half lives), and is now the site of a memorial complex. The Panorama Museum, named for the massive Battle of Stalingrad panoramic painting it houses, is another of the city’s most popular attractions.

I have written over 180 reviews on Trip Advisor and believe in the power of feedback. I hope you find my review helpful.
We stopped here for a late lunch. There were 4 of us.
The food was amazing. Choices ranged from Russian staples to Georgian cuisine, Azerbaidzhani, Uzbek, and other Caucasian dishes. All our meals were simply delicious and fresh.
The service was very good and the atmosphere was very good as well.

I went to this restaurant twice and was impressed with the food on both occasions. There is a good variety of things to choose, and everything is tasty and well-presented. Many of the dishes are made with ingredients coming from their own farm. Try the rabbit pelmeni - among the best I've had. Selecting the dinks is more difficult - the only thing you can get by the glass is OK'ish house wine, and there are only a couple of types of beer on offer. This is definitely a food place, not a drinks place.
The room is very good and well-designed. The only thing is, the restaurant is not in the city centre, but across the ravine from the Centre district (10 min by metro/tram). However, if you are staying in one of many hotels in the area, this is certainly a place to keep in mind. ...as I said, I came twice.

RIMINI is a network of Italian trattorias for business meetings, family celebrations with excellent cuisine in Italy!
The food is tasty and even tastes Italian. The portions are not too big, but the prices are reasonable. Located near the centre and an English menu is available. Friendly staff.
The place is popular, so sometimes it's recommended to make a reservation. Although I went there several times without reservation and was lucky.
The pizza was very tasty, the lasagna could use some more sauce, the risotto was good, fish and chicken dishes were tasty also.

We enjoyed our meal at the Steak House Cafe. The wine was excellent and the food was very good. We both started off with the Russian raviolis (Vareniki) with mushrooms and potatoes were excellent and were a perfect starter. Our main courses were steaks which were also great, but we should have ordered a side dish as well. We had a bit of a problem finding it because there is a stand in front of the restaurant which blocks its view from the street. Our taxi went around and around looking for it. The staff spoke only Russian, but they were very helpful and gracious in helping us to choose our meal.

I chanced upon this restaurant while desperately looking for suitably authentic ‘western’ cuisine while in Volgograd.
We have had several business lunches here so far and the experience is excellent: Italian chef cooking Italian food with Italian ingredients and fresh local produce. We ate starters, first courses (pastas and risottos) and main-courses and we were all very satisfied. An Italian acquaintance had a pizza and liked it. I am vegan so I stuck to a surprising variety of suitable options.
Excellent homely service too.

Lots of character and very nice inside and out. Actually had English menu for beers and food but staff don't speak English though. Still some lovely girls made me feel welcome and I enjoyed a litre of thirst quenching golden German beer. Also had a delicious apple strudel. Menu looks to have lots of tasty German themed foods. Well priced too. Worth going back. Still find it odd German food and drink is popular in place that was once Stalingrad.
