Lovely house and Gardens. Very friendly staff and lots to learn as from the room guides. Beautiful garden! We love your scones.....best ever! And we've eaten a lot in our time!! Tried them last year and returned again this year and still the best ever. Thanks!

The harbour is like a picture postcard. The low two story buildings in brick and whitewash make this a wonderful visual picture of life as it has been for hundred of years. The harbour is a little difficult to get to and the parking is very limited, but well worth the effort.
On the west side of the village is a wonderful little park that is on a small cliff and overlooks the harbour. Great view of the harbour and the village. There is a walk that you can take along the cliffs which is spectacular. It appear to go along the coast but we did not try it. On old mini-putt course that is not used but is interesting. Nice large car park.

We have visited Pittenweem many times but never thought to go to St. Fillans cave. Picked up the key at the cocoa tree cafe. Unlocked the door with the key, switched on the lights and were amazed by the size of the cave. What a place! Imagination ran riot to think of how it would have been used in days of old. A must visit.

My wife had found this place on the internet and she dragged me in, and thank goodness she did. What a variety of goods, some of which took me back to my childhood. Upstairs there was an artists studio with the artist painting away. He stopped and we had a good 10 minutes chatting away.
Very friendly and well worth a visit
