The views from Numana Alta are simply stunning and as Alex F has indicated, Sirolo is very worthwhile too. It is an easy walk there from Numana.
You will be blown away by the views from both these locations. Both have quaint piazzas and great restaurants etc... from which to dine.

I can’t say enough about our sailboat ride on The Wire with captain, Paulo Serenelli. We began at 10:00 and returned to port around 18:00 – and it was a perfect day from start to finish. Paulo, our captain, and his experienced skipper, Franco, took us on an all-day excursion along the coast of Numana, Sirolo, and Porto Nuevo on their 80-year-old boat. What a treat! It was amazing to see the Adriatic Coastline from this view. Both Paulo and Franco couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. They made us feel as if we were sailing with our close friends. And Franco cooked up a delicious lunch of pasta, salad, and wine for us all to enjoy. My only complaint is that the day went too fast. I strongly urge you not to miss a ride on The Wire during your next visit to Sirolo!

It's very difficult to say everything about Numana and Centro Sub Monte Conero in a few words:
for sure, Numana is not only a seaside resort and Centro Sub Monte Conero is not only a diving center.
Numana is a beautiful place, it encompasses all the elements making Italy one of the most desired destination in the world...sun, nature, beautiful people, culture, art, history, everything at your fingertips at very reasonable prices.
The sea in front of Numana is really a miracle, one of the best site for underwater macro photography in the world, being as good as Indonesia or Philippines.
Marco Giuliano and his staff at Centro Sub Monte Conero are really the perfect guides to let you discover the fantastic critters of this sea, this diving is existing since many decades and Marco has built a team of very professional people and, even more, a family where everybody work with enthusiasm and passion.
Marco takes you in a fantastic journey which will allow you to enjoy diving in Numana at the maximum: before going into the water, he will explain about the biology, the behaviour and the species with great details...but Marco is also a great u/w photographer, so all the team at Centro Sub Monte Conero is able to understand what is needed to take a great picture.
There is even more to discover, it's about passion and love for a place and a group of fantastic people, but you will have to go there to understand it and be part of it.
I was with Centro Sub Monte Conero several times, I also wrote an article about it, you can read at http://www.divephotoguide.com/underwater-photography-travel/article/numana-italian-lembeh/

Bellissima spiaggia a Numana.

This tiny museum has an extraordinary collection of regional exhibits including burial objects from the Picenes. My favourites are the remnants of the 2 chariots that was buried with the Picene queen. And a very unusual pendant that was buried with a young girl. A number of the information boards are in Italian and English. Well worth a visit. 2 euros. Free for under 18s.

A+++

Prezzi onesti (5€ piadina).
