The velvety beach of Senigallia, the intense blue of the sea and the green hills of the Marches embrance and protect this fine culinary workshop whose leading player in the kitchen is the daring, theatrical genius of Moreno Cedroni. La Madonnina del Pescatore is one of the most innovative gourmet restaurants on the italian peninsula, which engages its guests in a kaleidoscopic culinary experience, seeking out the origins of the Marches that rediscovered and reinterpreted in a contemporary, entertaining style. The refined, minimalist and contemporary design of the surroundings is made even more welcoming by the dining-room service that is perfectly coordinated by the professional skills of Moreno’s wife Mariella.
Everything is so beautiful and carefully done. It is also very creative and very interesting. And none of this sacrifices taste. One of the most memorable things was the dessert! When you want a pristine fine dining experience that really shows food as an art and illustrates what the appeal of spending so much money on food is, you go to Madonnina del Pescatore.

This was a second time for my family to enjoy dinner at this wonderful restaurant. We wanted our friends to celebrate my husband birthday and we really enjoyed everything. I would like to thank you very much for the cake. Unfortunately my daughter didn't feel well to be with us but certainly next time. Hope to come back soon.

The food is really great. I had calamari in a kind of potato soup to start with and the fritto misto as a main. Both dishes were excellent and the portions were very generous. The fritto misto, which can sometimes be quite greasy, wasn't at all. For dessert I had the gianduia Piemonte royal ball which was nice too. The quality and presentation of the food suggests it's quite an upmarket restaurant but, looking around, the decor, which is really basic, doesn't really match. Even the table could do with a bit of sprucing up. The rice in the glass bottle type ornament doesn't do it for me. The service is good and the staff are happy to answer questions. There were quite a few questions as the menu is quite complicated. There's an English version but some of the translations are a bit funny and the menu doesn't describe the dishes well; they prefer to give dishes elaborate names rather than actually saying what's in them and how they're prepared. I wasn't paying so didn't pay too much attention to the prices. All in all I was impressed with the food though and would definitely recommend it.

Stopped in for lunch (about 15 minutes of the A14) on the way from San Marino to the Marche. An all fish menu, great cold appetizers of squid and clams and shrimp and great fried fruitti de mare. Great vino di case at 9euro. My wife had the baked fish which was expertly prepared with potatoes and tomatoes and eggplant. Beautiful presentation. Very helpful service. This restaurant is on the beach to perhaps a little casual, but the food is quite excellent as other have noted and fairly priced also.

Delightful spot for lunch, mainly because the food is excellent. Casual, pleasant spot- very clean. Everything we tasted was interesting and well presented. I also thought that the salads and sandwiches were quite healthy. Didn't last the pasty. It looked beautiful but it certainly did not quality as healthful.
I could go here one a week, or maybe every day.

Always enjoy Pagaia, and we never pass Senigallia without stopping, usually timing our journeys to stop for lunch at Pagaia.
Had a larger than usual meal yesterday - starter, primo, main, and desert, plus 1 bottle of wine and 1 coffee: 79 Euros. Not cheap, but not unreasonable either.
The warm starter, (Mixed seafood), offers a wide selection with plenty of chance to try out their various items.
Maybe boring, but we always have the home-made passati pasta, a thicker rope-like pasta that soaks up the sauce wonderfully well. With a lobster sauce, this was absolutely great.
Had a wine from the Pesaro-Urbino area, a lovely delicate but not sweet white. I hadn't seen this before, but am kicking myself for not writing the name down. Oh well, I suppose I'll need to go back! Looking forward to that!

This is a real seafood restaurant on the Lungo Mare of Senigallia. Food is fresh and portions are generous. Waiters are friendly and they clean the cooked fish right in front of you. Many tables have a sea view. Locally produced Verdicchio (white wine) is a must. We loved the place. The ratio of food quality (and quantity) to the price is amazingly good.
Highly recommended.

How much more can be said that hasn't been said already about this place. Delicious pizza! I came at the right time when there was no line. Literally after I ordered, there was a massive line out the door, so if you plan to come, be prepared to wait. After I ordered, I was confused as to where to sit. Apparently you can sit anywhere they have space... I was soooo surprised in the speed. The Seating area has a nice view over the sea Promenade. Great pizza at a great value for money.

In this nice, warmly furnished Italian trattoria, with only a few tables, whose chef is completely covered with colourful tattoos, in the middle of the historical centre, you won't get fat, as the food you get is nicely framed with a wide porcellane border of "fresh air" and sometimes, when it's really busy and the food left is not enough, you will get two portions of your menu choise, spread out in three dishes and of course you'll pay for the three of them so, do not order the same dish! May be this special treatment is only reserved for residents! Both fish and meat meals are really delicious and the ingredients used are fresh and of best quality. Don't be there too late. On a Saturday night, at about 10.00 o'clock you might be answered, " sorry, we've run out of food". Enjoy your lunch, mind the dinner!

I went with some friends who could not exactly afford the top price of sushi. However, the owner offered to help out and made a special number of dishes that would line up with their price range. The owner is a nice guy who obviously adores Japanese culture and cuisine. The sushi rolls themselves were quite good, the fish is fresh (the key part), but the rice was slightly less vinegar enhanced than it should have been (no matter I imagine that is a local taste).
I think it's important to rate an experience based upon the experience of it as dinner. In this respect this place, clean, neat, good food, in the middle of the town, and a nice owner, deserves full marks.
