Basilica del Santo Nino

This famous church dates back to the early Spanish colonial era.

Nice church to drop by for a quick prayer and a nice interior with scenes from the Bible painted on the ceiling. Generally good to go on a weekday when the crowds are not there to pay your respects to the child Christ .
Bag checks is discriminatory and they seem to be checking only the bags of tourists . Plan to spend about 25-30 minutes here together with a quick drop by the magellan cross site.
Cebu city is not exactly loaded with great sights so the visit to the church is okay.

There’re plenty of restaurants, local and international food. There’re also a few bars for chilling. The cinema is good and comfortable. The vibes are good overall. But it’s a bit confusing and the signage s doesn’t help much.

Came in without paying since it was part of the Tokoyo Inn hotel (entrance on the 6th floor beside the reception). I didn't have to pay as I swiped in with my keycard but the park was still closed at the time. Didn't have time to swim but was able to take a look around. The main pool looked amazing. It was huge with multiple Bridges spanning across it. The views towards the city end is amazing.
At the far end of the pool, there was the water park. Plenty of slides and it looked really fun. There were also Cabanas for hire near the water park area. There was also a spa on one end of the deck, looking out into the city.
There was also a pool bar where you can have a drink while still chilling in the pool. With a food court on one corner, you could easily spend the day here just swimming and relaxing.

Having been turned on to this location through Trip Advisor, I was pleasantly surprised by the attached museums which provided some context to the building's place within Cebu's history. If you have a strong imagination you can picture the home in its glory days. Definitely worth a visit.

Cebu continues to amaze me every time I visit here. This time around they have a super club called Liv! It's the it place to see and be seen. They have international DJs during weekends. Be sure to follow a strict dress code for clubbers. During the day, City Times Square is a good place to dine. Try their seafood restaurant to satisfy your craving for mussels and shrimps.

We took the kids to this cute park. Outside looks really plain, but inside it is very nice and all the employees are very courteous. Very delightfully surprised with this FIND I highly recommend you visit this place when you visit CEBU. Nice place to bring the whole family, very reasonable, high security and safe rides. I love the giant slide and the inflatable rides. The kids had so much fun in the trampoline and the hubby went nuts with the archery and rifle games. A rare treat in Cebu...this park must be run by Americans! The bathrooms were extra clean and airconditioned!

Museo Sugbo

Reviewed By Tasneem A

If you are into history and want to learn more, this is a great museum. The guided tour is free if you want it so you only pay the entrance fee. I had two student girls as my guides, they were still learning but very sweet. I was able to ask them more general questions about the Philippines and their veiws on the country. There are labels on nearly all the displays in English. The museum is made up of a number of areas and rooms. It's not overwhelming so you don't get tired. There are souvenir shops as well. My only negative is that quite a few of the items were replicas and not the originals. The originals were in other museums. None the less, would recommend. It's in a randomn location on a busy road so get a taxi. The girls were really nice and helped me get a taxi when we were finished. Spent just over an hour there at a leisurely pace.

Happy Mong Kids Park

Reviewed By James R - Las Vegas, Nevada

Cebu city can not claim to have many kids entertaining facilities, much less parks. This is why when Happy Mong opened up, we were pretty excited.
They have decent play areas and rotate some of their equipment to keep kids coming back. And it is safe also.
I just wish they had some sort of classes or group entertainment.
