Iglesia San Salvador

Reviewed By MadridJosefina - Germany

I visited the Outlet on inauguration day. At first, I was overwhelmed by the number of people that went there but then I really enjoyed everything this shopping center has to offer. The hallways were super wide which allowed those massive amounts of people to be comfortable. I left with a bunch of bags due to the amazing deals that I received from the shops. There are many brands that have opened their first outlet store here in Sambil, so you feel like a winner when you grab a deal such as this one.
I will definitely return when I go back to Madrid in order to find those hidden gems at affordable prices!

Estadio Municipal de Butarque

Reviewed By Bozeman-Dublin - Dublin, Ireland

I went to Butarque to see Leganes against Eibar and even though the home side lost and there was no happy ending, I really enjoyed the day.
It's a proper little community stadium this one with great views of the action. Intimate and cosy, you feel a part of the game unlike the way most modern arenas have you sitting up with the Gods or perched behind a running track.
The place is spotless and well maintained. It looks like a recent facelift, perhaps to bring the ground up to Primera Liga standard after their promotion?
The crowd were very friendly and welcoming to a tourist like me and as I said, I felt like I was in a real community club surrounded by locals and families.
About a 20 minute train ride on the C5 from Atocha costing €1.85. Get off at Leganes station or the one before it is better- Zarzaquemada where if you turn left at the station entrance by the big clock you can see the stadium and a path through a small park leads you right there. So easy. About a ten minute walk and you can't go wrong as you see the floodlights and grandstand all the way.
So if you're looking for top flight football in an intimate setting, I heartily recommend Leganes!
