La Parrilla de Leganés is part of Hotel Parquesur in the south Madrid suburb of Leganés. Newly decorated in a smart traditional style, this Spanish restaurant has a warm and friendly ambience. The menu offers classic seasonal Spanish cuisine with creative touches, with a range of rice dishes, grilled meats and fish. Specialities include rice with lobster or foie gras on a bed of fried artichokes with a Pedro Ximenez reduction and there is an excellent choice of homemade desserts. On weekday lunchtimes there is a set menu and for intimate special occasions you can dine in the restaurant's small cellar, which has a capacity for eight people, as well as housing La Parrilla de Leganés' extensive and varied wine selection.

Went to this restaurant for dinner. The meat was delicious, extremely well cooked. Staff was nice. Estuvimos en la barra picoteando y nos gustó la variedad (tienen diferente carta para el restaurante) y la originalidad de los platos. Además, algunas raciones se pueden pedir por medias. Nos enamoraron las braviolis, riquísimas! A los huevos trufados les falta un algo que les dé más alegría, sino uno por persona se me hace largo. Precios correctos y personal super amable y atento. Seguiremos probando ambas cartas!

Lo encontré por casualidad, y hemos decidido ir a probar el menú del día. 3 primeros y 3 segundos con una excelente presentación y estupendo sabor. El personal agradable y correcto. El salón decorado con mucho gusto. Estaba lleno pero sin embargo no había ruido. Una estupenda opción para comer entre semana a un precio asequible 12€. Volveremos pronto a cenar y ver un show.

"Mediocre" is a good word for this restaurant. While cozy and the owner very gracious, we did not have a good experience. This restaurant actually comes close to an American version in that you can order meals for each that are not "tapas" and are not a series of "First and Second plates" you find in Spain. While the Cod fish was an unbelievably good sized portion and delicious, my stuffed chicken was not properly cooked.

Thrilled we found this wonderful restaurant during our stay (enrolling daughter for her semester abroad) in Madrid/Getafe, Spain! Can't say enough about how delicious, fresh and reasonably priced the food was, along with the generous portions and cozy, family oriented feeling we experienced in this restaurant! The Tapas area was constantly FULL of people, especially on soccer game nights. This restaurant is tied for the #1 spot in Getafe in our opinion! The ultra fresh, lightly dusted with flour Calamari rings (they were HUGE!) will alone make you come back for more (we dined there 3 times during our 2 week stay!). The Dorata with a roasted red pepper sauce on top were exquisite! We ordered the asparagus revuelto and then again the asparagus with rock salt/olive oil that were absolutely the largest, freshest, sweetest asparagus we've ever tasted! Don't even get me started on the pork chops! Wash it all down with a tasty sangria and you've experienced one of the best meals around!

We ordered pizza and tortellini. This is the best tasting Italian restaurant I dine till now. waiters were very helpful and polite. They changed the ingredients which we don't eat to the ones we like to eat. We had great tastes and great time. We stayed two nights in Leganes and have dinner for two times here.

Monday night and I didn't know where to go for a meal. This restaurant was the perfect idea: for 10€ you have excellent quality meal and can have starter, one plate, dessert, coffee and a gift form the house (chupito). Perfect!

I have been to quite a few American style diners in the past and this one didn't stand out.
Food tastes ok, certainly nothing to brag about but not bad either. Decoration was quite nice but it's one of those places where you feel they place more emphasis on making it look nice than making the food taste good.
We used vouchers for the meals where for €6 you get a burger, side of fries and a milkshake for dessert. Actually on inspecting the menu, we probably did not save much by doing this!
As it was my birthday, I tried to order some Oreo cake which was on the menu. We were told they didn't have any. We tried to order the American pancakes to which we were told, they didn't have any...so I ordered an Oreo milkshake. It looked impressive when it came out but actually just tasted like chocolate milkshake. There were a few crumbs of Oreo at the bottom of the glass but that was about all the evidence I could find that this was actually an Oreo milkshake!
Anyway in total, not disappointing as I hadn't had high expectations going in, but equally I wouldn't go back.

El restaurante en sí es amplio y con gran variedad de carta. Los platos son realmentes exquisitos y bien preparados. El personal muy atento y complaciente por lo menos las veces que he podido ir. Los peros que personalmente le pongo es que es un sito caro aunque tengas posibilidades baratas y ricas en la carta para "picar" sin tener que pedir un plato contundente. El menú infantil consistente en nuggets o hamburguesa y patatas a 18 euros me parece un poquito desorbitado. El menú fin de semana a 28 euros con platos como sopa, o chuletas de cordero también un poco pasado de rosca. No me van a convencer diciendo que entra 1 bebida y un postre también. Y como nota mas negativa la desesperante lentitud de la cocida toda vez que el restaurante esta lleno. Puedes esperar 45 minutos entre plato y plato tranquilamente.

Fuimos al local porque nos recomendaron las hamburguesas. Se nota que son caseras, hechas al momento, pero... nada más que destacar. No tienen mucha variedad, y al final son como las que te puedes hacer en casa. De precio son baratas.
La pega es el local, que es enano, y se forma mucha cola para poder pedir o incluso para sentarse a cenar. Al final con tanta gente y un solo cocinero, se tarda muchísimo en poder comer un plato, en teoría de comida rápida.
Lo veo buena opción para coger comida para llevar, si no se pilla el local muy lleno. Si no, no merece la pena la espera.
