I really enjoyed my visit to the museum. There are changing art Exhibitions within the museum as well as the permanent exhibits which give a flavour of the history of Kirkintilloch through the centuries. There is an interesting selection of cards and gifts to buy - which would make great birthday or Christmas presents. The staff are pleasant and helpful, going out of their way to help when I was trying out to find out where to buy Canal Festival tickets. This museum would be worth visiting on a regular basis, and it is also a good source of information on clubs and societies in the area.

We've had many meals in the puffer over the years, the staff are fantastic, friendly and efficient, can't do enough for us, the meals are great value for money, we will miss the Kirky puffer when it closes for refurbishment however we are looking forward to seeing the new puffer bigger and better in the coming months

Great day out for the lads, the paintball centre is roughly a £25 taxi away from Glasgow Buchanan Street Bus Station (I went as a group of 8 so was very cheap).
The location is fantastic, many other players there on the day enabling good team sizes (20 per team) and an awesome day of paintballing!
Lockers available for valuables (£5 deposit, of which you get £3 back), food available (can't comment on price or quality), free coffee/tea, one marshall in particular was excellent, very interactive and kept a good buzz throughout the afternoon. All staff very approachable and happy to help, will definitely be returning in the near future.
Great variety of game types, from capture the flag to planting the bomb, prices for additional paintballs, other equipment e.g. pyrotechnics was very reasonable.
We went when it was snowing which added to the atmosphere and experience!
Thanks Delta Force for an awesome day!

This is a hidden gem of a bar in Kirkintilloch. Upstairs from a Chinese restaurant this bar is great for watching all major sporting events in. very friendly staff and the locals are very chatty. Visited it on a Sunday afternoon and all live football was shown on their 4 large tv screens .
During the week there is a free pool table and darts boards to use in between the horse racing which is shown daily.
Great for Champions League nights with at least two games on at same time
In the summer there is also a beer garden to enjoy the very little sun Scotland gets
