High and Wild Mountain Adventures has been operating since 1989. We offer Abseiling, Rock Climbing, Canyoning and Bush Survival courses. We cater for beginners through to experienced outdoor adventurers and hold all of the relevant qualifications and licenses to operate these activities.
We did the Juggler Canyon with High 'n Wild. On the day there were three on us joining the tour with one guide (Dave).
The tour itself was split into two parts; the first a set of abseils, with stunning views, to train the group (starting with a gentle 5m abseil leading up to 30m). Dave was patient and happy for us to take our time and for us to repeat any abseils we didn't feel comfortable with.
After lunch we went on to the main event where we did a series of four abseils through Juggler canyon, gradually working our way down the canyon, which was equally as stunning.
Overall a great day - thank you!

Beautiful panoramic views of the jamerson valley n the three sisters. Stunning . Stop n look at the outstanding views with the blue haze of the evaporating eucalyptus. There are a variety of great walks all around, even one to a bridge connected to the first sister.

Worth the drive. I know on a hot day you don’t want to be stuck in a car in traffic etc. But if you don’t take the time to see the blue Mountains then you are really missing something.
There are lots of lookout places, plenty parking, Amazing views.
I would have liked a better choice of eating, drinking places and perhaps a gelato or ice cream shop but we got fed and watered.
I would definitely compare this to the Grand Canyon. But this is much older.....apparently.

Classic ascent / descent from the 3 sisters. The photo is actually of the scenic railway which is ~3km from the Giant Stairway. I counted exactly 901 steps from the bottom (Federal Pass) to the bottom stone arch at the top (approx 300m from Echo Point stone Arch). Stunning views and you can access Leura Forest or the bottom of the Scenic Railway depending on which way you go at the bottom. Strenuous but well worth the effort.

Made famous by the famous Charles Darwin in 1832, the walk from Wentworth Falls village to the the Wentworth Falls waterfall is totally gorgeous. Its five minutes from the Great Western highway but a million years from the modern world.
I believe that the Falls have the 25th biggest drop in Australia.

Opened 17 November 2012, the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre features the Blue Mountains City Art Gallery and World Heritage Exhibition which is devoted to education about the distinctive environment, history and culture of the Blue Mountains region. The Cultural Centre is co-located with the new Katoomba Library. The Cultural Centre showcases innovative, diverse, distinctive and creative cultural programs for enjoyment by residents of, and visitors to, the Blue Mountains. Built on the highest point in Katoomba with panoramic views of the World Heritage area, it links the main shopping precinct on Katoomba Street through enhanced pedestrian connections.
This is a beautiful exhibition which is multimedia. Sit listen read watch. Wonderful screen presentations. Look up and look at the floor too. $5 entry for the art gallery and cultural centre all part of the library complex. The viewing platform has wonderful views over Katoomba and beyond.

This great bush walk starts at Leura and ends in Katoomba near the Three Sisters Lookout. There are fantastic views over the Blue Mountains as well as the peaceful and scenic Leura Cascades. It is a long bush walk so be prepared to spend around 2.5 hours or more. Take water and snacks because you can't buy any along the way.

Less than two hours from Sydney, Scenic World is renowned for providing the ultimate Blue Mountains adventure - from native birdlife and fresh air, to breathtaking views of the World Heritage-listed region including the Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls and Jamison Valley. Journey on the world's steepest incline railway, glide between clifftops on the glass-floored Skyway suspended 270 metres in the air, descend into the ancient Jamison Valley by Cableway, explore Jurassic rainforest along the 2.4 kilometres walkway - the longest boardwalk in the Southern Hemisphere. Make a day of it! Scenic World offers free all day parking and a choice of onsite dining options.
Long queues on a busy day and some people were buying tickets online in the queue so that they could then join the with-ticket queue. Thought we'd try the cable car first but because of the queues staff advised the skyway first, then the cable car down and finally the steepest train line in the world (?) back up. Well laid out walkways and interesting mining area with visual aids and models. A good day's experience with lots of photo opportunities of the Blue Mountains and three sisters. Very enjoyable and definitely a must if you are visiting Sydney.

The Street Art walk is a dynamic, community-driven cultural treasure of the Blue Mountains, created by Street Art Murals Australia (SAMA) in partnership with the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre. It displays world standard street art from all aerosol disciplines. Come here to see International, national and local artists paint large scale murals!
Street art is becoming more and more popular around the world. The effort in Katoomba is a good start that, hopefully, will expand. To see where this type of effort can end up, one should examine Valparaiso, Chile and Sherbrooke in Canada.
