Murchison River

Reviewed By Rosco49 - Perth, Australia

Make sure you get your WA fishing license as the rangers are very diligent, having said that there are plenty of options available from beach fishing in the river or from jetties in the protected area just inside the very dangerous ocean access channel of the wild ocean inlet.
Other options are boat fishing it’s the river for Blue swimmer Crabs & medium size river fish that taste great.
There are lots of white sandy Beaches that are kid friendly & offer covered shelters for that refuge from the hot sun.
Canoe’s are available for Hire & for most of the time there are sheltered shorelines out of the sea breeze that make for a quiet paddle.

Rainbow Jungle

But disappointed on arrival as looked very small. Once inside however it was a large facility. All the birds looked to be in immaculate condition and well cared for. Particularly interesting was the walk through section where the birds were free to fly around the visitors. Altogether a great experience.

Pink Lake

Reviewed By UkAlwaystravelling - UK

The Pink Lake is just one of those things you have to see. The depth of the colour will be dependent on the angle from which you view it, but get that angle right and it is amazing. Like something from a sci-fi movie!
Also if you view it where it is bordered by white salt, the contrast is even more dramatic.

Eagle Gorge

Reviewed By Lisi_with_2_kids

If you are in Kalbarri go to Eagle Gorge.
We went there on a beautiful and a bit windy day and we were lucky enough to watch about 20 dolphins Surfing the waves. It was fantastic!!! The really just were there to wait for big waves and surf them and jump.
And the beach itself was awesome, secluded and waves were wild but just ok to dip in!
Great place as most places around Kalbarri. Absolutely worth going!
