Tennis Kozerki is a new sports complex, which was created with passion for tennis and more. Our goal is to "infect" others with sport and optimistic approach to life. We are convinced that sport, apart from the fantastic impact on physical and mental well-being, is the best way to spend time with family and friends. Sport releases positive energy!

Mme Tussaud's but in steel. Welcome to the Skup Złomu Przy Czołgu, a junkyard slash scrapheap, of which the owner had the brilliant idea to start a gallery of metal art. Figures out of famous movies are interspersed with supercars and themed furniture. My favorites were the Alien, Terminator T-1000 and Predator figures. Of the cars I thought the Maluch and Mercedes the nicest. My son preferred the Lamborghini and the Minions though. Also I thought the tables with tabouret seats were a great addition. All in all a great find. Spent some quality time there. Not cheap, 25 zl for adults, children at 8 zl discount. Heartily recommended!

In this beautiful park you can experience a bit of peaceful countryside, ideal for a day away from the city (take a picnic or use the palace restaurant). The park is well kempt and large. The small palace itself with adjoining buildings are not stunning, but the main palace hosts a pemanent collection of painings by post-romantic Polish painter Jozef Chelmonski. This collection is worth visiting, audio guides are available in different languages (mine had descriptions not corresponding to picture numbers). Don't be surprised if you are asked to start the visit on the full hour and are escorted through the rooms, this is an old style museum. Across the street is a typical wooden manor ("dwor") hosting artists in residence.
This complex is outside of the tourist track. You need a car to get there, and it will take you well over one hour from central Warsaw because of construction works (situation as of April 2017). To complete your day outing, you can combine this with a visit to the Narrow-Gauge Railway Museum in Sochaczew and Chopin's birthplace in Zelazowa Wola (the latter quite touristy).

Flyspot a freefall simulator, a place where gravity does not exist. On the technical side: a vertical tunnel with a diameter of 4.5 meters with a closed air circuit where high power fans to produce a uniform air flow at speeds up to 310 km / h Device to meet the eternal human dream - floating freely in the air, flying like a bird
A €100 buys you two 90 second sessions with an instructor - ours was very good and ensured that we flew up, down, left, right and everywhere! Was it worth it? Hmmmm....it's quite a trip to the edge of Warsaw and there is some waiting...Moremhmm... the price is 41,5% lower than mentoined, its only 58,5 EUR per basic package. Hope to see you soon in Flyspot again :)

This museum is well set up, huge site which reflects the scale of the industry when it was in operation. Reception staff very good, admission is free, only draw back is the long walk to the site.

Great medium sized recreational park featuring water, ducks, pedal boat rental, sailing school, city beach and a soccer pitch. Walk around, play, lie, sit, have an ice cream. We enjoyed it very much, walking around and enjoying an ice cream from the food cart. Super place. Heartily recommended.

Main church in Żyrardów, and one of the biggest churches in Mazovia region, modeled on Votivkirche church located on the Ringstraße in Vienna, Austria (also cathedrals in east bank of Warszawa and in Białystok used the same project). Build at the end of 19th century, when Żyrardów was a massive and wealthy industrial estate, specialising in producing linen. Owner of the estate, Karol Dittrich Jr., offered money needed to built this temple, he also offered all bricks needed - they were made in Radziejowice, and brought to Żyrardów by steam narrow gauge trains - all owned by Dittrich. Thanks to that the newly built church fits the red bricked facades of the whole estate. Some stained glass in church is said to be made by Józef Mehoffer, one of Polish top people in such craft. One of the bells on the tower is so heavy it's never been used, as it's vibes are so strong they can destroy the tower.

The museum is located at the original place of the transitional Nazi camp for refugees fleeing the Warsaw Uprising. Consists of a small but comfy shed filled with displays and exhibits of memorabilia, actual reports of the prisoners and historical facts. The museum is modern and audiovisual. After the shed, visitors can take a walk around the remnants of the camp and see some nice, red-brick industrial buildings.
