Żyrardów [ʐɨˈrarduf] ( listen) is a town and former industrial hub in central Poland with approximately 41,400 inhabitants (2006). It is the capital of Żyrardów County situated in the Masovian Voivodeship (since 1999); previously, it was in Skierniewice Voivodeship (1975–1998) 45 kilometres (28 miles) west of Warsaw. Żyrardów, initially a textile settlement, was named after French engineer and inventor Philippe de Girard, who worked in the area.

Situated in an old (but renovated) industrial complex Szpularnia has a great atmosphere, smartly combining the old with the new. The menu is rather small and focuses mostly on Polish cuisine with some Italian additions. In our group of six everyone was happy with the meals thay got, though the service could have been slightly more efficient. Prices are also OK. If you're around I would definitely recommend a stop for lunch/dinner here.

Best culinary surprice in last few weeks! For almost every occasion you can eat there very good and best served food. We loved all starters and soups, from the main course rabbit roll was delicious and recommendable. We will come back there for sure!!!

Sympatyczne miejsce z obiadami domowymi i deserami. Ceny niewysokie, obsługa bardzo miła i uśmiechnięta. Jedliśmy chłodnik i desery: szarlotkę na ciepło z lodami i torcik bezowy z malinami. Porcje idealne żeby się najeść ale nie przejeść. Wszystko było bardzo smaczne ale torcik bezowy powalił nas na kolana - pyszny to mało powiedziane! :D
Jeśli tylko będę jeszcze w Żyrardowie to na pewno tu wrócę. Polecam! :)

Karczma znajduje się zaraz przy wylocie z Mszczonowa na południe (droga S8). Trzeba uważać aby jej nie przeoczyć. Mozna do niej podjechać "od tyłu" co w obecnej sytuacji zamkniętego węzła Mszczonów jest nbajlepszym rozwiązaniem.
Jedzenie smaczne i swieże. Zazwyczaj jemy co szef kuchni poleca. Nigdy się nie zawiedliśmy. Ceny raczej średnie z tendencją rosnącą :)
Czas przygotowania II dania ok. 20 min więc warto wziąść zupę na początek.
Lokal raczej mały ale z klimatem.

Mielony z buraczkami, schabowy w grubej panierce, rosół, pomidorowa. Miejsce znane z organizowania imprez, często odwiedzane przez ludzi, którym nie chce się gotować. Przyzwoite "domowe" jedzenie. Nie jest to jednak miejsce, do którego chciałbyś zaprosić znajomych.

Telegraf is a family bistro. We aren’t the restaurant and we aren’t going in that direction. We love simple and seasonal cuisine, delicious coffe, home-made cakes, but abore all, we appreciate spending time TOGETHER in nice atmosphere. Relax and enjoy!

The place is just opposite to the Stara Przędzalnia, really well located.
Serves fantastic cakes, tartas, coffe, soups, pankakes...
The staff is extra helpful and ready to undartake any of their guests wishes :-)
There is a corner with toys for the kids.
Generally it just can be the best cafe/bistro in Żyrardów.

The only and unique pancake in Zyrardow and the surrounding area! Enjoy a delicious pancakes stuffed with sweet and savory. We serve filter coffee, tea and freshly squeezed fruit juices. Fall in love with our crepes!

Byliśmy na chrzcinach i pierwszy raz nie było na co narzekać jak w innych lokalach tylko zachwyt! wszystko było przepyszne od rosołu po drugie danie a deser niebo w gębie. Obsługa przemiła i pomocna.
