I didn't know of Zeki Muren but even still I found the super-flamboyant clothing and pictures fascinating. It was a heart warming cultural excursion into the ever surprising Turkey. I wish there had been some information in English for non fans, but even still there's plenty to see over a half hour.

Yahsi beach is located in Ortakent. It is reachable by minivans (dolmus) from Bodrum. The water is always clean because it is an open bay unlike some other bays around Bodrum. It is good for water sports, sailing or Surfing. Along the beach, you will find cafes, restaurants and shops.

Ship AHoy

Reviewed By Zahed I - Kiev, Ukraine

Nice music and good crowd is the theme of this club restaurant in Turkbuku. Sitting on the bar overlooking the sea is amazing and as well dancing away the night. Its beautiful to hang around this place. Drinks are kind of expensive though in this bar. A small Tuborg beer cost about $10 bucks.. Do consume your alcohol before you go to this place otherwise its gonna leave big hole in your pocket..

Castle of St. Peter

This imposing structure, built by the Knights of St. John in the early 15th century, is the most prominent feature of Bodrum.

I can't give this a 5 star because unfortunately some of the areas of interest were closed, however the parts we were able to see were very interesting. I missed the kitchens which I particularly wanted to see - couldn't face going back in as it was sooooo hot and my feet hurt. Its a lovely place to visit, beautifully kept and well worth a visit. The history surrounding it is fascinating but I would strongly recommend some Reading up before your visit and check up on when everything is open to view.

Midtown Shopping Mall

Where fashion & enjoyment meet!Midtown Shopping Mall

Reviewed By Elinjoun - Denizli, Turkey

Between the other two shopping mall in Bodrum, Midtown is the biggest one. It has free car parking and a big supermarket ( carrefour). There are internationa brand stores such as H & M , Marks & Spenser , Polo and local turkish brands in this mall. It is out of town around 20 minutes from Bodrum City center. It could be better if there was more brands. All in all it is good to visit once and buy something

Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology

The rooms and towers of St. Peter's Castle house this museum, which exhibits several collections of ancient artifacts including relics retrieved from local shipwrecks.

Reviewed By David R

Fascinating artefacts from across the ages.
Huge collection of Amphora from various countries and styles.
Was lucky as most of the towers (Bodrum Castle) we’re open as well.
Well presented and believe with a bit more understanding by the Turkish Government (Tourism) can be so much better.
