Reana comes from Remziye Ana (Mother Remziye) who is known in Gündoğan for her hygiene obsession. I know this restaurant from the opening day and since years, they kept the quality level as the first day. The cuisine consists of the typical Turkish Mediterranean dishes such as cold vegetables with olive oil, salads, seafood and of course fresh fish. This family own restaurant has a large area at the pedestrian street as well as a Terrace where you can watch the perfect sunset. At the high season, I strongly advise to reserve your table at least 2 days prior to your dinner. The service is not fast because it shouldn't be! You go to this restaurant not just to stuff yourself but to spend some quality time with your family, friends while enjoying a glass of raki or chilled white wine. So if you expect a fast dinner, please prefer McDonalds etc....

We had some lunch there freshly prepared fried eggplant (aubergine), along with potatoes served with yoghurt, tomato sauce, sheep's cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes which are lighter and less sweet.
We tried some local pastries baked in the wood fired owen in the garden of the restaurant which.
I am a cheese lover and the Wonderful local cheese and olives are to die for.
We also had some dinner in the evening tables set on the jetty with the breeze from the sea under the stars it was fantastic. The owner of the place Sheanai; who makes sure her customers leaves the place happy.
If you are around in Bodrum make sure you try this restaurant.

Cannot fault Alex and his team at Sofi's. Menu has a wide range of choices and value for money. We came here twice and both times were exceptional! They also helped make my engagement to my fiancé one of a kind!Would definitely come back! Thanks Alex

I was there with friends and family. During daytime we enjoyed the beach and sun. The beach was not big but thats because of the structure of turkbuku. The service was excellent and personel were pros. There is one point that you have to be carefull; it is an expensive place but they deserve it 100% with the taste of food drinks, service and quality.
Go there and enjoy.

Very good food and service, bit pricey. It gets crowded, but service is still in tact. Seabass lokum is the best.

Maca Kizi is not for the quiet loving couple looking for a peaceful romantic evening. Or not for the family looking for a fun night out with little kids. It is a bustling, noisy fabulously sceney Mediterranean night spot that happens to have really great food. I should note that my husband and I are not into sceney or loud, and our two kids certainly don't do well in that kind of setting. But, perched high above the deck bar at our table for four, we enjoyed the music, the vibe of lots of young and fabulous people, and then we enjoyed when the music quieted at 8:15 and we settled into a truly delicious dinner.

We wanted to spend the day sunbathing at Maki Hotel nearby, but they told us they only accept their own guests for the sunbathing now. So we moved a few doors down to Casita - a well known Manti restaurant (Turkish style dumplings) to take advantage of their jetty space for sunbathing and lunch options.
The price per person in early August was 80 Turkish Lira. It's about $40 per person which you can spend on food/drinks. This is not bad coming from Dubai where it can easily be $100 per person, not even including food. The problem is- they make it very difficult for you to spend it!
1. There is no hot food/drink service to the sunbathing area. You must haul yourself to the restaurant, sit in the hot sun and order food there.
2. They told us they do not serve Turkish coffee, yet we saw someone order it. When we asked about that person receiving it, they apologized for lying, and then said we can order at the restaurant, but not to the sunbeds. I asked why they don't service food/drinks to the sunbeds- they said they don't want to get the towels dirty. This is funny because all of their towels are dirty anyway!
3. The service in general was poor. Rude wait staff that always had to be flagged down.
4. Food quality - For many years, Casita used to be one of the top restaurants in Bodrum. Their food quailty, however, has really gone downhill. I was very shocked at the food -kofte and manti were terrible- and won't eat here again.

We had "cig borek" (minced meat cooked inside a dough envelope), "icli kofte" (minced meat cooked inside a cracked wheat ball - boiled in this case), and "Feriye Manti" (slightly fried ravioli in a garlic yoghurt sauce). The "icli kofte" and "cig borek" tasted more of dough than the filling. The manti was crunchy although the sauce could have been more garlicky, as we had specified it to be. It could have benefitted from more spices as well.
The sea-side atmosphere and service were very good, and we were given an on-the-house dessert of ice cream in helva and a sour cherry sauce, which was very good. Overall, I would say, add spice to the fillings and lighten up on the dough. Lots of possibilities.

Loved this restaurant. Read the reviews and I definitely don't agree that it was over priced or the service was anything but impeccable. Our waiter Ermin could not have been more obliging and attentive and the food was delicious. We ordered Sea Bass and it was fresh and tender with meze to start and a Turkish Sarfine red wine. The bill was around £40 a head. The setting is probably one of the most beautiful in the whole area. Sitting on the edge of the ocean with the sound of the lapping waves, the dim restaurant lighting added to the candles on the table was just so very romantic and perfect. Thank you we will be coming back :) Great music too.

This is a restaurant that people highly speak of however our experience did not fit into that comments. The atmosphere is great, very nice Mediterranean style setting by the sea,
Garo's is a very assertive restaurant with its design and price list and we expected to have a meticulous service. It was on the contrary we had to repeat our orders to different waiters several times, ice was hard to find and the meze/fish recommendations worthless, just pushing for pricey dishes.
We had John Dories which were a specialty for the restaurant and they were "dry" and tasteless. Meze's were ok nothing came up as a superstar.
I can not say that we got the value for the money in Garo's, would not consider to dine there again.
