Yahsi beach is located in Ortakent. It is reachable by minivans (dolmus) from Bodrum. The water is always clean because it is an open bay unlike some other bays around Bodrum. It is good for water sports, sailing or Surfing. Along the beach, you will find cafes, restaurants and shops.

I didn't know of Zeki Muren but even still I found the super-flamboyant clothing and pictures fascinating. It was a heart warming cultural excursion into the ever surprising Turkey. I wish there had been some information in English for non fans, but even still there's plenty to see over a half hour.

Today this island is closed to the public, to protect some recent architectural finds, however you can still walk the causeway.
King of Halicarnassus Mousolos build a causeway in the 4th century BC, so that they could go and feed the rabbits on the island while watching the sunset. The causeway sunk as a result of and earthquake, but you can still wade to the island. However is you do decided to do so wear shoes as the rocks are slippery and sharp, in addition there are plenty of sea urchins.
The area currently has ' archaeological status" which mean that scuba diving of forbidden , but snorkelling is possible and highly recommended

Probably spent most of my two week holiday in this place as it's definitely the place to go - the staff, atmosphere, karaoke, dancing, drinking and overall friendliness of this bar is second to none. i had an amazing time here and look forward to going back in the very near future!

Where fashion & enjoyment meet!Midtown Shopping Mall
Between the other two shopping mall in Bodrum, Midtown is the biggest one. It has free car parking and a big supermarket ( carrefour). There are internationa brand stores such as H & M , Marks & Spenser , Polo and local turkish brands in this mall. It is out of town around 20 minutes from Bodrum City center. It could be better if there was more brands. All in all it is good to visit once and buy something

This imposing structure, built by the Knights of St. John in the early 15th century, is the most prominent feature of Bodrum.
I can't give this a 5 star because unfortunately some of the areas of interest were closed, however the parts we were able to see were very interesting. I missed the kitchens which I particularly wanted to see - couldn't face going back in as it was sooooo hot and my feet hurt. Its a lovely place to visit, beautifully kept and well worth a visit. The history surrounding it is fascinating but I would strongly recommend some Reading up before your visit and check up on when everything is open to view.
