The first thing we saw was dolphins playing in the channel. We were hoping to take our young child to the water park but he was a little to young. Nice and clean area. The navy ship was good to see. Some good playground equipment, plenty of parking (weekday). Good place to go for an afternoon stroll.

These are great Gardens to have a wander around - some really nice walking trails in different styles of Gardens. Make sure you have plenty of repellant on as the mozzies will carry you away. Really nice lake with loads of turtles and ducks. Some lovely places to also have a BBQ picnic. Loved the separate Japanese Gardens & tea house.
We had lunch at the cafe. The crispy chicken wrap was really nice overlooking the lake, the staff were very friendly. Definitely a place to return to.

This is a beautiful park, with lovely views of the Marina and waterfront, a lily-filled pond and delightful cafe. There is a little beach you can normally access, however it was closed due to a crocodile sightly when we went.
Information signposts around the walking tracks give you information on Gladstone's 'Big 6' animals.
Everyone we walked past seemed happy and friendly. Lots disobeyed signs and had their dogs off leash, though they were well controlled.

Nice location on the marina. Staff were very friendly, trying to be helpful, but not that well informed.
We couldn't get any info on the Gladstone Show that was being staged the next day, apart from being shown on the map where it would be.
We booked a harbour cruise, with each of us laying seperately (both cash). The next day the cruise company phoned us and insisted that we had only paid for one person, but 2 R barked for the cruise. They readily accepted our account of the info visit booking, but thus shouldn't have happened.

Visiting on business and had some spare time so decided to visit the gallery. I was lucky enough to view their annual exhibition "our priceless past" and it was most informative and well laid out with lots of space. Art works in other space by local artists also excellent.
Staff were so friendly and helpful giving me maps and information of local places of interest

The Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre is one of regional Queensland’s premier entertainment venues, attracting new entertainment and events never before seen in the region. The facilities within the centre are well-equipped to host conferences, conventions, weddings, christmas parties and gala's, as well as Performances of the arts including Concerts, musicals, opera and community Concerts.
The Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre is very well equipped to host large conferences. The bathroom facilities were excellent. There were no ques and they were spotless. The conference centre itself had more than adequate Seating for delegates and the stage was well equipped to host speakers and presenters.

A place to visit on nice cool summery days. It is great to sit outside overlooking the vineyards, although unfortunately these have been badly damaged by fire now. Food is really good and the wine is "acceptable" but not bad for a locally produced bottle. Great venue!

With 9 race meetings a year you're sure to have a great day out at the track. All ages welcome and including an on site bar, canteen as well as undercover and large lawn area for patrons
