The lake offers an amazing view of Fuji San. It's not crowded and easily to walk around the lake. There is a place for camping as well or you can rent a bicycle or just walk is relaxing.

Nature at almost its most spectacular.
The cool mist that sprays from the gushing falls, the rythmic drone of splashes, the unmistakable scent of greenery - mesmerizes the senses no end.
Pick a rock to sit upon, drift with the flowing sensations that surrounds you, surrender yourself to nature. It doesn't take long to make you feel alone ...though crowds may dot the scene.
Being alone without being lonely is fleeting sensation to treasure.
Brooks, streams, clusters of vegetation, moss coated rocks, polished bare boulders.
They are all there. So too, the series of falls.
Wean yourself off your camera and enjoy the unfolding beauty in real time. Some picnickers having a jolly time. Couples sharing suddenly remembered yesterdays.
The entire view is nothing short of comforting.
Enchanging.
The viewing platform that leads down to the falls has a good view of Mt Fuji - especially on a clear day. Charming.

We are Hands-on Ranch that located in the Asagiri Plateau at the foot of Mount Fuji. Please foster a rich humanity, and experience the pleasure of contact with nature, importance of food ,the preciousness of life through the "farm experience"
This is a Eco-farm, small but come with many kinds of animals and activities, nice to spend 3-4 hours with our 4 years old son. Just right hand of the entrance selling souvenirs, milk ice cream, foods and drinks.
Coin machine to purchased grain for animals feed just next to the animals gate, it will be perfect if one small pack 100¥ included in the ticket. There was some chairs on the field to sit on just nice to relax or snack time in a sunny day surrounded with colored autumn leaves and animals.
Activity free of charge like draw warm milk from a mother cow, personal touch to the Guinea pigs on a small mat to be put on our tight, see how to spin wool sheared into wool yarn (making small felt items is chargeable) & etc.
Others activities chargeable like horse riding, quizzes and feeding baby cows, races with sheep & etc.
In the farm, there was a few swings make by wood! Walk to the left hand of the entrance, there is a little adventure playground for kids. My son had a lot of fun and don't want to leave there!

the whole area is nice. we come out often to get away from Tokyo. quite pleasant. there are farms, golf, lakes, great views of Fuji-san. also as you get close to the border to yamanashi-ken, narusawa village, great fruit and vegetable stands.

This was not part of our itinerary but a local friend took us here as we had to kill time. It has an owl park with all kinds of owl on display and there is a flower garden in the backyard. The parrots in the garden are nice and they climb on your shoulders. You also have few talking parrots. But otherwise it is not worth to spend money on cab and the entrance fees.

We drove here in the late afternoon when most of the attractions had already closed. The grocery and gelato stores were still open, and we managed to get some milk products. The gelato was delicious, and had special flavours made with camembert cheese and local strawberries. It's worth a visit if you're nearby.

The Otodome Waterfall is located nearer to the official-looking carpark (500yen for a sedan car), and can be viewed relatively easily from the available platform. There were still water flowing in early December when we were there. The Shiraito Falls can be visited further down the road, and require a slight hike down some stairs to reach it.
