This quiet beach is typical of those along this cost. Compared to the busyness of Étretat this was tranquil. The are some benches looking out over the magnificent cliffs which made a perfect picnic spot. There was plenty of beach side parking(Saturday in early Juky- expect busier in high season) and a few restaurants with sea views.

A faire!

Two hours cruising in the company of friendly, efficient crew to view the dramatic coast and experience how sailing must have been prior to power. An excellent trip.

The views up here really are stunning - you can see for miles along the coast on a good day. Extensive remains of German 'Atlantic Sea Wall' defences, including one very sophisticated bunker set-up that would have had radar with a range of up to 300km (it wasn't installed in time). Bird life, grasses and wild flowers also very much in evidence. You can park right at the top and have quite a level walk to the cliffs.

The Palais Benedictine, an architectural masterpiece of gothic and Renaissance inspirations, proposes guided tours all year long on Saturday, Sunday, holidays (except May 1st, December 25th and January 1st), and every day during school holidays at 3pm. Discover the museum, the one and only Benedictine distillery in the world and the cellars. Eventually, enjoy the contemporary art exhibition, before heading to the Winter Garden where is offered a tasting of one of the three Benedictine Expressions*. Interesting building and museum but the best bit was the tour of the distillery and the tasting after. Lovely stuff. No driving for me which was just as well. Thanks to the driver for making this an enjoyable afternoon.

Would you fancy swinging from tree to tree ? Whether with family or friends, have a wonderful stay near the seaside, discovering all the activities offerred by the leisure park "Woody Park" in Fécamp. Relaxing walks, sporty activities from the tree tops, racing from branch to branch, passionate paintball sessions ... Make this an ideal playground for the young and not so young alike. Come and live refreshing and fun expériences in the middle of the woods and discover new sensations !
I am native of Fecamp, and was visiting family in neighborhood village. Weather was grey, then rainy, but the tree canopy was thick and provided good shelter. The tree canopy walk is a bit scary, even for us who are not scared of height. But it is worth doing. The small activity playground for younger kids is great too. They can have hours of fun on their little tight ropes, zip lines etc. I finally took my two 9-year old on the large zip line tour and that was AWESOME. I recommend the zip line to anybody tall enough to do it. Staff is great and cool. It is not cheap but there is some good time to spend.

If you are wandering around Fecamp, be sure to visit the Abbé de la Trinité; it does not seem too impressive from the outside (it was damaged many times throughout the ages), but this inside is huge and very impressive. Be sure to spend some time looking at the stained glass windows.
