My husband and I were here over the August long weekend. We did a tasting and decided to stay for lunch when we say the authentic Napoli style pizzas coming out. They only have 3 wines, but they are quality wines. The young lady doing our tasting didn't really know too much about wine or how it was made, would of been nicer to have someone more experienced and knowledgeable about their products. The owner of the winery came out and said hello and made sure the pizza was to our liking. It was absolutely delicious! Be ready to spend $20 + on pizza and $40 + on the bottles of wine they have to offer - but they are, in my opinion, worth it.

Located in beautiful Prince Edward County adjacent to a winery, the Oeno Gallery exhibits contemporary art by artists from this region; other parts of Canada, and occasionally, exceptional international artists. The Gallery space is light-filled, with separate painting and sculpture exhibition spaces and also features a 3.5 acres outdoor sculpture garden.
A great way to spend the afternoon. Our multi-generational family visited the Huff Estates winery for lunch and wine tasting. While we waited for a table, we had a lovely tour of the Oeno garden gallery which is right on site. The beautiful garden was interspersed with unique sculptures that the whole family enjoyed.

THE ANDREW CSAFORDI STUDIO GALLERY and LOVE NEST STUDIO GALLERY is a true County experience! Artists Andrew Csafordi and Tara Wilkinson share their art and passion for natural elements with visitors to their beautiful country farm. A graduate of the Ontario College of Art, Andrew paints exclusively with molten “encaustic” beeswax, incorporating other mediums. Luminous textures bring the viewer into an organic landscape unlike any other. His masterful paintings move naturally from two dimensions to three, from reality to colourful imagination, often echoing the fluidity of landscapes in The County. His works create a focal point and spark great conversation in one’s home or office. An exciting renaissance of this ancient “encaustic beeswax technique” has been growing with excitement. You’re invited to join in. Additional fine art, sculptural paintings can be seen in his magnificent century-old Barn Gallery in the heart of Prince Edward County. Also profoundly influenced and inspired by nature, Tara creates sculptural art nests from fibres, twigs and other found materials. Each nest features a delicious array of fibres, colours and textures, and is unique in character and spirit. She is also an award-winning photographer and offers framed and unframed prints, greeting cards and more from her whimsical gallery on-site - a restored chicken coop. Encaustic painting workshops and gift certificates available. The Studios and Galleries are located minutes NW of the village of Bloomfield; first road north of Huff Estates Inn & Winery in the heart of Prince Edward County wine country.
Andrew's encaustic artwork is beautifully displayed in a lovely barn on his property. Andrew and his wife, Tara, are both very easy to speak with and it is enjoyable to speak to them about their art (Tara is the creator of the photographs and bird's nests at Love Nest Studios on the same property). Andrew also runs workshops on encaustic painting - very fun!

Prince Edward County wines are very trendy now, thanks to pioneering efforts by local folks like the Huffs. They are prospering now with some of the best local wines. We were fortunate to visit at a non-busy time, and enjoyed excellent service and information about the unique aspects of the local wine industry. Most of the wines are not to our taste, and a little too expensive for our budget, but we love Huff's dry rose enough that we bought some to take home. On a nasty winter day, we will sit in front of our fireplace, enjoy a tipple of Huff rose, and remember the wonderful sunny days when we toured "The County".

Handcrafted nest ornaments and shadowboxes, photography books, prints, greeting cards and more are available in her enchanting gallery - a whimsical restored chicken coop. Love Nest Studio Gallery is a true gem in Prince Edward County's art-rich community. Tara's nests are a brilliant idea, each of them unique, totally convincing and beautifully executed with the finest of material -- a wonderful blend of the natural and the woman-made. Visiting her charming studio, one has a sense of Tara's devotion to her craft, her genuineness of spirit and her generosity of heart. I found her prices reasonable and Tara herself tremendously responsive in shipping pieces to my home. It was a pleasure to deal with her and a privilege to see and how her work.

The Hatch Gallery is contemporary art gallery serving as a site for Exhibitions working with both established and emerging contemporary artists. The gallery represents and promotes Canadian abstract artists working primarily in painting and sculpture. The Gallery is now closed for the 2017 summer season but you can visit anytime by booking an appointment.
We recently visited the opening of this lovely new contemporary gallery in downtown Bloomfield. The space is bright and inviting much like the staff and owner. We were delighted to view such fine works of contemporary Canadian artist, Paul Sloggett and are excited to see more exhibits at this wonderful gallery.

My daughter and I went to check out Bloomfield Studios and ended up staying for the afternoon. The Glassblowers demonstration was entertaining and informative. He created a beautiful glass bowl and explained what he was doing along the way. I admired his talent but did not envy the extreme heat he had to endure to create his one of a kind glass piece. I strongly suggest checking out this studio. I am glad we we made it part of our tour of Prince Edward County.

Dead People's Stuff is an eclectic antique shop in Bloomfield, Prince Edward County where you can find country and cottage accessories and furnishings, as well as vintage tools, garden decor, and the best desirables and oddities.
Some unique pieces. If you are interested in old tools and dishes you should stop in. There were a couple of beautiful solid wood pieces of furniture. Won't take a long time to go through. We were told by the person working there that the products are constantly changing. One of those quirky local places that can be fun for adults. Not really a place for yourckids even though they may be intrigued by the name.
