We arrived at 3.30 pm at this beach; the wind and wave were strong. There were not many people in the beach even though we came on Saturday. Definitely a good place to take photograph and relax.
Shower and restrooms were also provided; but they were quite modest and not fancy/clean.

located in Belinyu town , far from capital city, (about 80km), with white sandy beach and massive granite rocks, good only for chilling, picnic-ing and maybe watching some people do fishing, i think this beach is Beautiful but not well maintenanted, i also can found many rubbish there :(, so i decided to collect as many of them and bring it in my car to put it in a rubbish bin, i didnt find any good hotel or resort or things to do there to make this beach more alive, also no proper facilities! like clean toilets or restaurant nearby, (there are toilets, but not a tourism standard) I just HOPE Bangka tourism authorithy will take care of this beach more, because its a potential asset.

Not too far from the city center, this place is quite a nice place with many things to offer.
For me, it is a good place to take some good pictures of lanes, trees...
I recommend to visit this place early morning or late afternoon to get away from the outdoor heat.

Tanjung Berikat is the eastern-most tip of Bangka Island. What's so special about this cape is you can witness one side of the cape being calm and still while the other side is having waves crashing into its shore at any time of the day.

Tanjung Berikat beach at Lubuk Besar is a hidden gem. It's the eastern-most tip of Bangka island. The unique feature of this place is ... at any time of the day, you can observe the interesting phenomenon of waves crashing onto the beach at one side of the cape, while on the other side, the waters are absolutely still and calm.
The beach is beautiful (altho depending on season, you may see rubbish from elsewhere washed up). There's also a small rocky hill nearby. You can climb up to enjoy the 360 degree awesome view of the place.
There's a nearby watchtower you can climb for another aerial view. A green meadow leading to the beach makes the place quiant.
Perfect place for a swim and picnic. There's no food stores or anything nearby. So, better bring your rations.
Highly recommended!

Actually Romodong Beach is not a special beach, it is a normal with nothing special, except the entrance of Romodong Beach, there are 2 huge stone, very interesting stone and we must take a picture on it.
Overall, nice beach, very clear and clean sand. Nice for family and friends outdoor activities.

Ketawai is a small island which can be reach from Kurau Village (Bangka Tengah) for about 30 minutes with speedboats/fishermen's boat. When My family and I visited Ketawai, it was during fasting month so there were no other tourists beside us. We even had to rent police boat because there was no operating speedboat. But the policemen were very friendly, they lent us his wetsuit and snorkeling equipment for free.
The island itself was beautiful with white sand beach and crystal clear water. They put big sign "KETAWAI" near the dock. There was no hotel in this island, but locals (which was very few, about 2 or 3 family) rent their wooden house for guests. There was no cafe, restaurant, or even warungs, so you have to bring drink or food yourself. They provided rubbish bin and public toilet which was in mediocre condition. Don't forget to bring sun cream, camera, and flyswatter.

This fishermen village is about 20km away from Pangkal Pinang in the Koba District. The main area straddles along a bridge over a river. Both sides of the river are laden with fishing boats. You can come for sunrise and sunset for great views. I like sunrise better.
Walking around the village, you can strike a conversation with the locals if you know the language. Generally, the people here are friendly. You can even walk along the cemented jetty and enjoy the view of the boats and fishermen going about their work.
Highly recommended!
