Due to time restraints on our part we were not able to spend the two hours actually touring the dam. However they had a really interesting visitors centre/display on the building of the dam. We spent a good hour looking around there and learning about the dam, it's history and the people involved in the building of it.
We really enjoyed it

I've been here 2 times, once with a friend, once with my lover and dog. This park is really big, and there are so many paths to discover. The people that live in Baie-Comeau are lucky to have such a beautiful spot in there backyard. If I lived there, I would be at Boise de la Pointe every day!

Another great place to visit while in the Baie Comeau area.
Although some have said that they were not bilingual, we had no problem as long as we attempted to speak french, they were more than hospitable and warm toward a group of obviously non quebecers.

What a great surprise to travel on a ferry that really cares about the comfort of its passengers!
Seating is very comfortable, spacious and abundant!
Windows are everywhere and well situated.
Dining has many flavours and Seating is great and again plentiful with many choices of entrees to suit everyone!
The ferry itself is extremely stable and in most cases you need to look out to make sure you are still moving!
I would highly recommend this ferry to any and everyone!

The Saint Amelie church, built in the 1930s, has now been desanctified but it is well worth visiting to see the remarkable frescoes and stained glass windows designed by Italian artist Guido Nincheri. These colourful and vivid works of art represent the lives of the Apostles and the Prophets and look as though they were created yesterday.

they had a better menu and prices were already expensive enough. Now the selection should be better since tehy have a full size kitchen.... prices are not good. The beer is very very great. innovators in all styles. you wonte believe the taste you'll discover. Huge selection of scotch. Gin"s getting there. Wish they would expend the rum selection a bit. overall great place,,, you may still be a bit hungry. but you definitivaly need to try the poutine. the best beer gravy you'll have. i still go 1 or 2 times a month,

Style brasserie, avec un menu diversifié. Excellent service bonne nourriture. Il y a plusieurs écrans de projection, donc excellent choix pour regarder des émissions sportives. Très grand avec banquettes et grandes tables. Excellent choix pour party de bureau, sortie de groupe. Ouvre le matin dès 6h. Donc facilitant pour les occupants de l'hôtel

This is a great dam to visit when you are staying in Baie Comeau. It is only about a 30 minute drive from the town, and has a good visitor's center with displays and good information. The tour was the highlight of our visit. Plan to go in the summer when the tours are available.

Inauguré en 1970, cet aréna à deux glaces est le domicile officiel du Drakkar de Baie-Comeau de la Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec (LHJMQ) depuis 1997, soit sa 21e saison en 2017-2018. Du nom d’un ancien maire de Baie-Comeau (Henry Leonard), cet aréna peut accueillir 3042 spectateurs dont 2779 places assises. C’est ainsi le plus petit amphithéâtre de la LHJMQ mais il présente une très bonne statistique d’occupation (83%) avec une ambiance très animée quel que soit l’issue du match. Le hall d’entrée est particulièrement impressionnant avec l’exposition des photos des joueurs du Drakkar, démontrant l’intérêt et la fierté des administrateurs et de la population pour leur équipe. Le Centre Henry-Leonard est doté d’un immense stationnement (gratuit), depuis lequel on peut accéder à deux points d’entrée (entrées des coccinelles et des papillons) du boisé de la Pointe Saint-Gilles où l'on peut pratiquer la randonnée pédestre, la raquette et l'observation d’oiseaux (superficie de 175 ha, 12 km de sentiers). Une activité à intégrer dans votre programme de visite de Baie Comeau.
