Founded over 350 years ago, the town of Baie-Saint-Paul is nestled in a valley located on the northern shore of the Saint Lawrence River. Known as the birthplace of Cirque du Soleil, Baie-Saint Paul is one of Quebec’s oldest municipalities featuring narrow streets lined with charming boutiques and art galleries. Popular attractions include the Carrefour culturel Paul-Médéric and Musée d'art contemporain de Baie-Saint-Paul; Maison René-Richard and Le Massif de Petite-Rivière-Saint-François. The latter is a popular scenic 6-kilometer drive down the mountain to the St. Lawrence River.

Dinner was very pleasant with the wait staff very helpful with our questions in English. (Even questions about a strange bird we had seen on the ski trail!) The atmosphere was pleasant, cost comparative to food produced and service excellent.

Charlevoix local cuisine served in a rustic and cozy bistro, with a beautiful Terrace along the river.
A lovely space with wonderful food and excellent service and a great feel. Enjoyed the seafood entree and the beetroot and strawberry sorbet. The cheese was also wonderful (and local). Memorable evening, great for a special occassion.

L'orange Bistro is located in the heart of Baie Saint Paul. The restaurant is in a victorian style building which is more than 150 years old.The restaurant has been opened since 1999, our new Chef is proud to use mainly fresh local produce with a personal touch. There is no dress code.Friendly relaxed atmosphere

The best ever!
A soft ice cream cone dipped in warm belgian chocolate, either dark or milk chocolate.
The coating is very thick and doesn't harden completely, so when you bite in it, it is really a big taste of chocolate
They have different sizes of cones to choose from.
I can drive a long way to come and taste it a few times every summer....whew!

Inside, spectacular light fixtures and abundant natural light add to the natural warmth of the brick. By sitting in the contemporary decor of Chez Bouquet - the chic and relaxed bistro of the Auberge La Muse - you eat with your eyes as well as with your mouth.

Responsible philosophy is felt even on the plate with an imaginative kitchen entirely home that does honor to the producers of the corner. On the menu alternate fish, veal sweetbreads, beef tartare, Guinea fowl and grilled meats. Our signature dishes, the kid's square of the Ferme Caprivoix and the aged meats, as nowhere else! Gluten-free dishes are identified. In summer, you can sit in the sun on the Terrace overlooking the picturesque Rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste. On a cool evening, you can sit down on the heated Terrace or near the central fireplace to enjoy the health of the world!
A fairly recent addition to the charming Auberge de la Muse, this modern, contemporary restaurant is conveniently located on picturesque rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste, and the colorful, heated Terrace overlooking part of the garden and bustling main street makes it all the more appealing. Like many Charlevoix...MoreYour comment is so great and one of the most elogious that we ever had! The new owners and the team of Chez Bouquet Éco-Bistro will always be happy to serve you and offer the best products of Charlevoix. Looking forward to see you again.!

we had pizzas there. Location is good on rue Saint-Jean Baptiste where the art galleries are and Terrace is pleasant. However service was painfully slow at every stage and as a result I never even got my coffee (included in the menu) at the end of the meal.

SO SO SO GOOD..... wish we could rate this even higher. Small and quaint but just perfect. Feel good just sitting there and eating wonderful smoke meat plates. Platters, Sandwich, spaghetti..... and Spruce Beer.... wow.
People working there are excellent and very pleasant.
The coleslaw was so good, but some to take home and spruce beer to go as well.
Can't wait to go back.....

At ``La Bouche Des Goûts`` the view is in the plate An enjoyable stay wouldn't be complete without good food. Make the most of your stay and appreciate dinner in the setting of our restaurant. Regis offers a menu with local produces with a personal twist. With over 20 years experience as a Chef in Michelin star restaurants, you will soon find out how passionate Regis is about his cooking. You are not staying at the Inn? We serve dinner between 6.00 PM and 8.00 PM.
Chef Regis has been gone for a few years- personal life got in the way. He taught cooking in Drummondville and is back with new partner from there, lovely Isabelle. From Languedoc, Regis cooks with a bold delicious hand - think, Corbier red wine- his pork and duck dishes were hearty and spiced for passion of the locally sourced product. We had a special goat cheese starter- from a French cheese maker in BaieStPaul ( not Migneron ) wrapped in a slice of bacon and broiled crisply and drizzled with honey and served on a cool bed of rocket greens. The restaurant and Auberge have been in other hands for a few years so with the return of Regis one is certain to have a superb meal. And we wish them well!

We found the place a bit overrated. The mushroom soup tasted as if someone had accidentally dropped all the black pepper available in the area, the Sandwich was nothing to write about (other than being somewhat, but not completely warmed up in a nice oven). Honestly, the combo soup-sandwich in Tim Horton's tastes better (and is less expensive). The bakery part, though, was very good. We liked the fresh bread and the pastries - we bought a few different of those, and all were delicious - this is where they are way ahead of Tim Horton's. I am rating it "very good" only because of the bakery goodies. Not impressed with the lunch.
