Bad Bevensen's spa pools are characterized by their uplifting, health-oriented, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere both indoors and outdoors. In the Iodine-Saline Spa guests plunge into the relaxing and invigorating, bubbling warmth of the thermal baths, and swim or flow with the streaming current of the endless pool.Immerse and relaxSwimming on cold winter days in two outdoor pools with nearly 11,000 square feet of 32° water with a three-percent salt content is a truly unique experience!Analysis of the Iodine-Saline SpaThe iodine-saline hot Springs water in Bad Bevensen's spa comes from two sources. Both are certified as therapeutic hot Springs. The iodine-rich water is pumped from both Springs from depths of 661-700 meters below sea level. It this way, it reaches back 55 - 34 million years to the Eocene geological period.
The iodine brine thermal bath is good for cures. There are 4 generous pools with many jacuzzis. Not so many possibilities to play so it is more for the mature generation to really relax and have a quiet time. I'm always driving 30km to the baths, it's really worth it.

I have seen the Hundertwasser toilets in Kawakawa, New Zealand so wanted to see this station since I was staying in Hannover. I was not disappointed in the quirky and eccentric decoration and also the cleanliness. The station has shops and places to eat and can either be approached by car or by train from any main station. It was worth the detour and time and I cannot praise it too highly.

We visited and made the most of the lovely sunny weather. We used the benches and greens and shady trees. Highlight was a quick splash with the water Fountain to cool off.

*Note: English guided tours may not be available* We almost did not see the convent, but we are glad we did. It is an active protestant convent, with guided tours done by the sisters themselves. Beautiful baroque architecture, with medieval elements.

Die Woltersburger Mühle ist der beste Erholungsort für alle Altersgruppen, da die Umgebung sehr ruhig ist und keine Straßen in der Nähe sind.
