KidZania is an indoor theme park designed for children between 3 and 15 years old and their parents. It's a kid-sized replica of a real city where children play adult roles in a highly realistic environment. They can choose between more than 60 different professions which are practiced in replicas of the most representative establishments of an actual city: airport, factories, theatre, shops, racetrack, police station, fire department, press, TV studio, stadium and many more. The activities are designed to be fun and pedagogical, based on the edutainment -education + entertainment- concept. Its contents are developed according to school programmes and seek to teach the children citizenship values and rules, helping them to live in society in a healthy way.
Kidzania concept is absolutely amazing. A place where both adults and children will have a great time, as children try different professions and adults have a pleasure of observing their children working at different jobs. As we don't have such a unique place in the U.S., we brought our children to Kidzania during our visit to Lisbon. Our children don't speak Portuguese, thus some jobs were out of reach. Also, unfortunately many Kidzania employees didn't speak English, some were sometimes rude when children didn't understand them. It is Portugal and people speak Portuguese, but given that there are so many international visitors with children coming to Lisbon, it would be wise hiring employees who speak proper English during regular days or at least have "English speaking days during a week" as it is done in some Kidzania's around the world. Kidzania teaches children about the world. Communication skills are one of the most import skills for any profession, thus some signs in English or additional exposure to English speaking visitors would make Kidzania more realistic. Despite all, Kidzania in Lisbon is surely a place you want to bring your children and with some improvement from a management, this place would be extraordinary.

If you like sports then you have to visit this shop as you will find a wide range of products there. It is quite a big place with lots of products divided by sports activity, for men, women or kids, and it goes from football to camping or fishing.
If you go there in the beginning of August you will find big promotions.

Imagine a game that doesn't feel like a game, where your body is the controller and your mind believes it’s real. The digital and real world meshed seamlessly together, to transport you inside a virtual realm like never before. When you move, the game moves with you. Pure immersive mayhem with the freedom to get up and go.
This is by far the best Virtual Reality expereince that I've ever tried. In just a few seconds you feel like you've been always fighting against zombies, scared and excited at the same time. I think it is the best activity for groups of friends that you can find in the whole country!

The SWOP ensures emotional experiences made of cultural tales, wine and typical Portuguese dishes tasting, by wine makers Virgilio Lourerio, Manuel Malfeito Ferrera and Enrico Pignone.
