We had dinner in this atmospheric restaurant. The place and the staff who made it a special night were excellent. Matched by the food and wine of the highest standard. Since 1994 Silk's Brasserie has been the go-to restaurant for quality dining on the Blue Mountains. Warm attentive service and great food set the standard. Open 7 days for both lunch and dinner, bookings are always recommended and often essential. (Check for public holidays, we're not always open.)
We had lunch here during a tour of the Blue Mountains area. A pretty interior. Because we were on a tour and schedule we were given the abbreviated tour menu and the choices were okay, but the regular menu had many more interesting items. We thought the service would be good and prompt given the welcome, but unfortunately, the service deteriorated as the meal went on. We all ordered easy and quick menu items, but there were a handful of large parties ordering off the regular menu and things really dragged for us. Our guide came back after an hour and figured we would be having dessert and we had not yet gotten our main course. The starters were good, but the main course really lacked much flavor. A very average meal with less than average service unfortunately for us.

At first glance Canton Palace looks a little like a tired suburban average Chinese restaurant.
It was however recommended to us by our hotel concierge so we thought that we would give it a go. As we walked in and seated, I had significant Reservations as the girls running front of house seemed more intent in chatting between themselves than looking after the customer.
However, once we finally got their attention (and a drink), the service was quick and well paced. The proof of any pudding is in the eating and the eating wad great. The team on the woks clearly know what they are doing. The steamed dim sims were excellent as were the perfectly fried spring rolls.
One of the kids like honey chicken (yuk), but even that was delicious!
We topped off the meal with deep fried ice cream and sensational banana fritters.
Overall, Canton Palace is well worth a visit for a well priced, well cooked Chinese meal. Just got to whip the front of house into shape...

Quality traditional french cuisine reasonably priced, wonderful location and ambiance with spectacular views of the jamison valley. Bar, extensive reasonably priced wine list, outside dining, beautifully restored edwardian building built 1895 guest house with four luxury guestrooms, specials of the week. Open every day for Breakfast Lunch and Dinner except Wednesday and Thursday Musicians play regularly and Lunch on Sunday.
My fiancé took me out to a valentines dinner. Unfortunately we both agreed the service made this dinner one of the least romantic dinners we've ever had. It left us with a very sour taste in our mouths, despite enjoying the food. (Although butter with bread should be a given.)
We won't return, and we won't recommend.

The Conservation Hut sits right in the Blue Mountains National Park. Lovely airy building, huge high windows, lots of timber beams with out door Seating with fabulous view into the Valley of Waters. Our visit was summer time but winter would be equally great there is a huge inside open fire place with surround Seating.
Service was excellent :-) We had breakfast/brunch, poached eggs, mushrooms, spinach and thick toast, generous proportions beautifully cooked, vegetarian options available, absolutely scrumptious. Passing our table were trays of Devonshire teas, fat scones, and fabulous looking cakes going to other customers, for us to try next time :-)
Peaceful and serene, we could sit and watch Wattle Birds and Currawongs in the bush.
Plenty of Parking, some lovely walks, it you are up to it there are stairs down to Empress Falls and Canyon.
If you have the time or the opportunity our waitress suggested we might like to see Lincoln's Rock which is named after Lincoln Hall who has summited Mt. Everest he was a long term resident of Wentworth Falls. an easy 15 min drive from the Conservation Hut. Absolutely breathtaking views, no fences :-)
The Conservation Hut is worth a vist with many thanks to our wonderful waitress Sherida, thank you!!

This is really a cosy and charming cafe and eatery conveniently located after the roundabout in Wentworth. It is like going into someone's home and to dine. There are books upon bookshelves, tables of various shapes, colour and design and even a fire place leading up a chimney. Totally do not want to leave this place after my eat and coffee ..... do not miss my photos ...

Super fresh, delicious food. This popular cafe offers indoor or outdoor dining. Get in early to avoid having to wait for a table. Service is friendly. A little more attention could be paid to cleaning tables and windows. This is only a minor point.

Thanks Trip Advisor. You were right about Lily’s Pad. Great place with terrific food and service. Although it is a little bit off the Main Street it is well worth the effort to find it. Really enjoyed the breakfast here.

Came here recently for brunch. It's in a convenient location and was pretty busy. The food was delicious and the coffee was pretty good. We got the eggs benedict, the baked dish and the vegan dish. Great find, would come back again. It's cash only.
