This was my 2nd visit to this restaurant. The food is consistent. my partner likes the pork with mushroom sauce and I like the Turkey schnitzel. The salads are fresh, and there is a daily soup option and specials. The roasted potatoes are more like fried chips, so that was disappointing. The service is very good, with friendly staff. Will be back next time I'm in Slovenia.

We found this restaurant by chance. The young staff runs the restaurant in an efficient way. The day we were day we could notice the customers are a mix of local people and young people coming from Italy and Slovenia. Simple menu, delicious gulash, good cevapcici and pizza as well if you want.

Attached to Hotel Mantova this bar/restaurant/cafe does everything from drinks and ice creams through a full meal. The meals we had were always excellent and the service great.

Breza is the righh place to get some icecream when passing thru Vrhnika via Tržaška road or just a quick cup of coffee and some desert to give you some extra energy for the road ahead.

When you enter this restaurant you will have full slovenian pristine home made cooking experience.
The food is delicious and yumm and variety of menus is also more than enough. Staff is warm and welcoming. If you are hungry and in vicinity I highly recommend just make sure they are opened.
The only disadvantage is small parking lot.

Excellent location, but you need your own transportation or a taxi from Vrhnika. I loved the old building which looks like a small castle from afar. The interior is nicely renovated. There are a few rooms, at least one with a big old oven which comes handy in the cold evenings. The food - mostly for meet lovers, but the spinach salat with pine nuts is a good vegetarian option. And perhaps some pies, wild garlick soup... Then comes the bad thing: everything was too salty! The meals were good looking, tasty but just for the first bites. Then comes the salty taste which killed all the quility of food. So you better ask to prepare your meal with much less salt! You could still add it later....

If you are visiting the nearby technical museum, this is a great stop to taste good food! Good value for the money.

Not far away from Ljubljana in Sinja Gorica you can find the restaurant Bajc, where you can enjoy an amazing meal offer for great prices. The friendly staff will fulfill your every wish and make sure you will gladly return to them in the future. Every day we prepare warm meals and lunches for our guests and a special menu with seasonal vegetables each season. Enjoy our delicious venison, typical Slovene dishes and other food we prepare especially for you. The restaurant Bajc has a great starting point to explore the beauties, which are close-by. Hikers can go to Planina, where they can experience a wonderful view over Vrhnika, the ones, who do not wish to hike as much can visit the spring of the river Ljubljanica in Mocilnik, the technical museum of Slovenia in Bistra or the nature park Barje.

We are locals in the area and this place never let's us disappointed! Great pasta, pizza, burgers. We always take the garlic soup, some prosuto and home made bread. Today gnocchi for kids (1/2 portion) didn't let us down, as well as lasagna and pasta with octopus, zucchini and cherry tomato.
Recommend for sure!
