This place was genuinely amazing, we were surprised at how good it was even despite the good rating on trip advisor. My partner and I were truly delighted with the quality, presentation, portion size and particularly the flavour of the food offered. We love asian cuisine in general with both eating out as well as regularly cooking at home and can say that this place was by far the best I've had for a very long time, if not just the best. Can't recommend the food enough.
A few minor negatives are that parking was hard to find (none available outside, no information on website), their website in general could be updated, and it would be great if they had a Delivery service (versus a very expensive 3rd party company) for their take away option so that I could enjoy it more often!

It's the closest and most convenient hotel near our Swiss office, so makes sense to stay here
The first night was a challenge as doors close past 10pm
Due to unforeseen circumstances, I didn't arrive till past 11pm and I thought I was going to be screwed and stuck outside in the snow
Thankfully, my Uber driver wanted to ensure I got in safely and called the hotel number and managed to find a hidden key that got me inside
The hotel was efficient enough to provide instructions on where to find my room key and I could officially check in during breakfast
Breakfast itself is an extremely basic continental buffet, but I didn't require more than the what was available
The staff in the morning were very friendly and accommodating
The room is a decent size and clean
No complaints

We have been in this restaurant (in the "gourmet restaurant" about a dozen times and it had a consistent good quality. Very fine menus, interesting compositions, great flavours, nicely presented at quite moderate prices. A very special - and pleasant - custom in this restaurant: an "automatic" supplement, not only of the side dish, but of the meat or fish, too, almost another main course...
Once there was a little flaw: something was too salty, it was immediately replaced with a new dish, and the espressos went on the house ... great conflict management!

This place supports SVP, the nasty right wing party in Switzerland. Not only are they opposed to foreigners in Switzerland, they constantly insult them with their barrage of xenophobic propaganda.
This restaurant regularly hosts the SVP on their Terrace, allow them to put up stands and all their propaganda in the hope of brainwashing gullible Swiss into voting for them. Which, you will be surprised to know, happens all the time. They are the most supported political party in Switzerland. Just goes to show what Swiss people are really like.
Every person has the right to know and this is why I am posting this review. I for one will never come back to this place. The food was average at best and it will certainly not be missed.
Shame on you Fabio.

I have been in Löwen probably 30 times the past 8 years! The restaurant is open 365 days a year and offers lunch, dinner and service throughout the day. For me it's probably the best place in the region to eat combining a big variety of food and fair prices. When the weather is good the garden is really nice.

This was my third time to this Ristorante in as so many years that we became friends with the owner Amos, who is an Italian. The man is a jewel who makes all his customers his friends.The service, staff and the food is absolutely top notch.

Small, charming restaurant in an old Riegelhaus. We ordered the 4-Course Menu and it was amazing. Just the right amount of food and time. We weren't rushed, and could enjoy it all. The food was delicious and innovative in its combinations of flavors. Great service as well. Not inexpensive, but well worth it. Certainly a good "special occasion" restaurant.

I knew this place from the beginning. Had many business dinner there. Always was excellent. Now i'm living in Vietnam but was visiting Switzerland and remember this place. I went there and it was even better then before. Great service, excellent food and very romantic with lots of candles. We will stay abit longer here and we will be back - promise. Also will recommend to our friends.

i haven't been to the wallberg for at least 15 years. so i was really looking forward to seeing "my" old place again.
the decoration was nice (especially with the xmas extras) and it seemed as if i have never been away. service was pleasant , i guess.
food was just boring. it seemed that time stood still. no innovation. nüssli-salad mit ei and the meat with noodles. i have to admit that for fr. 160.- for 2 people i was expecting more,

Like this place, easily reachable, parking available, service good. Went on business. I really appreciate fresh salads and this restaurant deserves top stars for the salad. I had a fitness plate with grilled chicken which was very good.
