First you would think it's a fine, relatively small museum when you're in the main hall. But when you leave it, there are more and bigger hangars with tons of well displayed planes and artefacts of aviation history - from Switzerland and also International. To recommend very much!

We did the full package and our group of 4 had a great time. It took us a long time but we were smiling all the way.

The Glattzentrum is actually located in Wallisellen and can be accessed with public bus, street tram and the S-bahn (less than 10 minute walk). This multi-level mall is filled with restaurants, clothing, grocery/food, flower shops, electronics, hygiene articles and more. In addition to an information booth, there is also an SBB ticketing sales counter. I bought my winter snow boots here at a great price! There is a three-level circular tube slide and a play area for kids.
There are seasonal displays set-up inside the mall from the X-mas tree, ice skating, wine expo and more.
The Glatt has clean restrooms, customer parking, but the best item about this mall is its location with public transit access routing directly to the Zurich main train station.

Annual (Fall) Pumpkin exhibition with activities for children
First my kids were disappointed that no french fries were available, than they loved the pasta with applesauce. I had asparagus with a sausage from the grill. We loved the view of the small lake and the blooming trees. While the kids enjoyed playing in...MoreThank you very much for this nice feedback. We are happy that you enjoyed your visit to our farm. Hope to see you again soon!

Had high hopes for an indoor play-area for the family to come with frequency in the Zurich area. Well, after a very weird interaction with management, I definitively do not recommend this place. There is no sense of customer handling or customer orientation. Quite unfortunate.
Up to management intervention, I was going to have a sad memory of the place, but would not have done much about it.
Confusion at the restaurant, with very limited options, which triggered to order stuff on the menu but not readily available. So no worries, we pay an expect that the things we ordered would be brought to the table, such is usual practice and no worries, we go to the table, eat what we got on the tray and wait for the rest.
To our surprise, time flies and no signs of bringing our food. We complain, and we get the food delivered, soon after they come again and said they did not charge for the food. I am not sure what they were expecting after that, did not make much fuss and went to the activities for the kids to have fun.
In the middle of the afternoon get a call, with the complain that I had not paid. They got the number from the VIP I had just purchased. And manager just states that we ate the food so we need to pay, does not even matter if it was their mistake... really ? really ? First time ever I got into such situation. Of course I get agitated, and the manager even jokes to my face that I am acting irrationally.
Well, no problem! The displays and Exhibitions only worked for halt the stuff, the environment quite beaten by usage with with not adult sitting place at the places the kids play, there is some but further away.
So cancelled my year subscription pass for the full family, converted into a one time entry only, at least they were nice regarding this. Imagine the manager did not like my face so made that option very easy. Anyway, a bad memory was made! I asked for a reclamation book, but there was none, so I write my reclamation via social media. Got part of my money back, and believe they lost way way more than the cost of their own mistake that they made me pay! Just incredible their lack on customer focus! No wonder the place was surprisingly with very little quantity of kids. The pass is financially better if you plan on going there 3 times or more, at two it is break-even for adults. The ateliers seem to be interesting and my family enjoyed the chocolate making one.
If would not have been for the bad intervention of the management I would probably had gone a few more times, and if I would have enjoyed the place, setup birthday parties or something.
Customer service and customer focus killed it for me!

We enjoyed this one - it's not a huge place by any means, and the walk up the hill is 'refreshing' to say the least, but it is well worth it for the views.
This is only open during part of the year (April to October), on Sundays 14.00 until 17.00. But if you're in the vicinity it is well worth a look.

J'ai découvert le S Greif, bateau à vapeur de 24 places entetenu par une équipe d'enthousiastes. Il effectue des croisières privées qui sont intéressantes au départ de Maur.

If you just want to see a movie - as convenient as possible, why not. It has no small cinemas, no breaks, parking just underneath…Cons are, that most movies are shown dubbed in German, popcorn and drinks are even more expensive than in Zurich and the whole experience is "unpersonal". If you want to have a nice dinner, see a movie "in Style", you maybe better visit one of the cinemas in Zurich.

I was staying very nearby this sportscenter and bought a special summer membership. It has a nice outdoor play area for kids with a pool, and is a nice, but small place to work out indoors. Nice warm pool for evening soaks, and multiple sauna areas. There are nice nearby walking trails too if you prefer to enjoy the beautiful nearby scenery or head to the calm lake! Onsite restaurant has a nice country club type feel to it. Great food selection and decent prices for Switzerland. Food ready made, or made to order. Clean and well-maintained facilities. Great location for weekend brunch.

My Senses Bar is located a few blocks down from the Dubendorf Bahnhof. This place has been nominated for several Best of Swiss Awards. The front of the business is rather hidden in a somewhat office/residential space.
The interior is a grade above. Nice relaxing music, focused lighting, but floor to ceiling windows offering natural lighting. Sofas, padded chairs, stools along the walls and at the reverse L-shaped bar. There is a separate enclosed smoker’s lounge with even more exclusive alcohol in the case and cigars. The place has specialty gin, rum, whiskey and cocktails to fulfill your desires.
I started with a beer (5.50CHF), and then had a signature cocktail, Deep Life (16CHF). The cocktail was a mix of three gins, grapefruit juice, and more. A smoothly mixed cocktail and it was delicious.
The owner and superior staff greets you upon entry with a welcoming smile. Bartender, Rahel, was very friendly, professional and took really great care of me. The staff will come to your table or chair to take your order, at the same time bringing a small plate of sliced salami and a small plate of cheese chunks on the house! With my second beverage they brought out a small plate of assorted nuts.
The bathrooms are very nice and spotless and offer cloth hand towels, hand creams, gels, and even small packs of contact lens solutions.
The place really makes you feel welcome and go over and above to make sure you enjoy your visit. They also offer free secured Wi-Fi.
I felt welcomed and treated really exceptional during my visit. Wow, this place is really at the top of the class. Come as you are jeans or dress. The place welcomes you and treats you as a special guest. A great visit. Highly recommended!
