We had the pleasure of having dinner, lunch and breakfast at Coach House (Zeederberg) restaurant during our stay at Coach House Hotel & Spa mid August.
The crackling fireplace added warmth and boasted a romantic ambience.
There was a set menu available and we could choose the dishes we preferred from the set menu. My husband had a garden salad as a starter. His salad was crisp and freshly made. For mains he had rump steak with potato chips and vegetables. His steak was grilled too perfection (medium – rare) and melt in the mouth tender. He is still referring to that mouthwatering steak.
I had the chicken schnitzel with potato chips and vegetables. The schnitzel was a generous portion. The chicken was moist and succulent and tasted absolutely delicious. The menu was very well priced in comparison to the exceptional high quality of our meals.
For lunch I had a toasted ham, cheese and tomato Sandwich with potato chips and a ploughman’s platter which I thoroughly enjoyed.
The breakfast spread boasted a variety of cold options (serials, yoghurt, cheeses, and a selection of cold meat) as well as different options from the hot menu. My husband had a cheese omelet which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had 2 fried eggs with bacon. The eggs were perfectly prepared to order and the bacon was just the way I like it (crisp but not dry).
All staff members were very friendly and ensured that we were well taken care of during our meals.
We cannot wait to return to Coach House Hotel & Spa and Zeederberg restaurant for another fantastic meal.

This is our favourite restaurant in Tzaneen and our first stop when we visit. We are still battling to find somewhere great to stay in Tzaneen but keep coming back to visit Yum Yum. They support local businesses and have local craft beers on the menu. Quiet when we were there on a Friday afternoon and service was quick. My husband said there was far too much mayonnaise on his Prego roll but otherwise we were very happy with our order. I have the haloumi ciabatta which was excellent and the honey and rooibos milkshake although quite small was very good. The smashed meringue dessert (their take on an Eton mess) is simply amazing.

Visit crawdaddys Tzaneen today for lunch on arival we found our table cloth dirty sticky clear signs of food from the previous customers. I requested a clean fresh table cloth to which our waitress Glandus just came with a damp cloth and wiped the table. We ordered our food 2 x mains and 1 starter we advised her that she can bring it together but put the starter order in first to perhaps have it a bit quicker. The food arrived 2 x mains first and about 1 min later the starter. Ok no problem as we ordered it to come together. My wife ordered fleur du cap natural light. Sorry out of stock about 6 min later. So we ordered another wine. Don't your waiters now what is in stock or not. Our food was good as always. During our lunch we saw our waitress 4 x when she took the drinks and food order. When she advised wine out of stock when the food came and when we wanted the bill asked from another waiter to tell her to bring the bill. The bill arived for Table 49 R728.00 we were table 25 bill R403 if I didn't check the bill we would have been R325 out of pocket. During our lunch the "manager" was doing his rounds and when advised of the dirty table cloth to which he replied sorry and walked away. WOW is this how they treat their clients Management???. NO CRAWDADDYS Tzaneen this is not you what went wrong????.

Popped in for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Authentic Indian curry was lovely - perfect balance of exotic tastes and a perfect portion with all required condiments. No poppadum served which was missed. Partner had eisbein and advised that it was very good. The eisbein was large and perfectly cooked. Overall, service was very good, waiter (forget his name!) was friendly, and willing to assist to make our dinning experience good. We were comfortable and relaxed. If in the area again - we will try their menu again!

This is an exciting new fully licenced 'family restaurant' in Tzaneen, located in the the historical Joubert House which dates from 1927 and is a very apt venue for this restaurant. Sharing the establishment is an interior decorator business (Casa Mia) and this adds to the unique homely ambience, so be prepared to browse and possibly spend money on some nice niknaks. The menu is easily one of the most extensive I have seen. With anything from health breakfasts to juicy steaks you will be spoilt for choice. Prices are very reasonable and value for money great. Food is well presented and delicious, whilst the chef's passion in preparing his creations is obvious. My personal preference is a restaurant in a peaceful location with minimal background noise, where I can enjoy the company of my guests without extraneous interference. On this score my expectations were fulfilled. The beautiful manicured Gardens and play area for the children reminded me of my childhood days and visits to my grandparents home. It is also this homely atmosphere that makes this venue ideal for small functions.
Service is prompt, friendly and efficient without being intrusive. All in all, I find this the ideal venue for anything from a quick business engagement to a romantic dinner with my wife. But don't take my word for it, go give Dei Gratia a chance to enchant your senses.

Panarottis Pizza Pasta specialises in serving quality Italian-style cuisine. The restaurant offers a friendly and relaxing environment where friends and family can enjoy a delicious handmade pizza topped with the freshest ingredients. Pizzas are traditionally made with a thin base, with calzone and thick base available on request. Every pizza is made from an original and unique recipe, but if none of the pizza options seem satisfying enough, you can create your own pizza with a selection of your favourite toppings.
