Tulancingo (officially Tulancingo de Bravo; Otomi: Ngu̱hmu) is the second-largest city in the Mexican state of Hidalgo. It is located in the southeastern part of the state and also forms one of the 84 municipalities of Hidalgo, as well as the Archdiocese of Tulancingo. Located 93 km from Mexico City, this area is the most important wool textile producer in the country and was home to El Santo, Mexico’s most famous lucha libre wrestler. It is also home to the Huapalcalco archeological site, which was the forerunner to the Teotihuacan civilization. The name derives from the Nahuatl words “tule” and “tzintle” which mean “in or behind the reeds.” This is confirmed by its Aztec glyph.

Stopped by on our way out of town back to Mexico City. Was a very nice and pleasant restaurant. We ordered the Portabella Appetizer and the Salomon Salad. Service was very quick and efficient. We will be back

We visited on May 10th... there were 3 of us, ad my companions enjoyed their food, I did not.
They both had Shrimp Cocktails, one had mushroom soup, the other seafood soup. Both had some type of fish...
I had the steak & shrimp brochette, which was more than disappointing.... The there was only 1 skewer w/ steak, shrimp, ham, & veggies....
The steak was grey & cold, the ham cold, the shrimp few.... I realize the price was average, but I seriously expected more......
The restaurant was very clean & bright inside, the service was friendly, parking was not easy (but this is Mexico)
Thankfully I do not have to go back
