Since 1973 the mark "Das Restaurant Adria" in Troisdorf is synonym for perfect hospitality. The traditional house of the family Saracevic is located opposite of the railway station at the entrance to the City of Troisdorf. Beside of Mediterranean specialties we are offering high-valued international meals with changing dishes of the season. Juicy Argentine steaks from selected beef, lambs from New Zealand, delicate dishes with blue white fish and poultry, and of course, a big selection of crisp salads complete our daily offer. Perfected are these sumptuous specialties by selected vines and classy digestives. We accommodate room for circles up to 40 persons. The Restaurant is an insider's tip for guests and exhibitors of the Trade Fair Cologne. The closeness to Cologne, an excellent connection of traffic to Cologne, as well as famous Hotel accommodations in Troisdorf make worth a visit. Allow our team to make you feel comfortable. We are looking forward to welcome you here.
For people enjoying a well-served meal plate, this is a very good address.
I tried it during the asparagus season and the menu was full of plates with this nice vegetable.
I had a grilled salmon with asparagus and I did not regret it!
I saw the mixed grill plate and it was looking great!

My wife and I spent the day in Siegburg in December and could not find a restaurant to our liking. We stumbled upon Peperoni, which was a little off the beaten path. Our visit to the restaurant produced a pleasing dining experience. Peperoni serves both Italian and German food. The salads are fresh and the main courses are large and flavorable. If in Siegburg again, I would return to Peperoni.

We were invited to a birthday party at Forsthaus Telegraph. When planning the route, we came across the very positive reviews, which Forsthaus Telegraph has received online. Our expectations were therefore quite high and we were not disappointed!
Service
To serve a four course menu plus a delicious "greeting from the kitchen" and drinks timely and stress free is not easy. The team at Forsthaus' Telegraph managed to serve politely and quietly.
Food
Our host had a good hand in choosing the menu. The starter was a Tartar from "Matjes" with spring salad and small potato pancakes. Down to earth, Northern and good, but for my taste the potato pancakes were a bit greasy. The Crèmesoup of curry with mango strips was a tasty, well-chosen contrast. For the main course, there was a very tasty fillet of pork with herbs on malt beer sauce and vegetables. The Palatinan Pinot Blanc and the Pinot Noir from the Nahe were good, combining well with the food.
When the dessert variety "Forsthaus Telegraph" was served it became very quiet in our room, it was very good.
The Forsthaus Telegraph follows the habit of using UHT milk for latte, which unfortunately is widespread in Germany. Not using fresh milk leads to a one point deduction on the rating. However, on a positive note, it should be mentioned that the team was on hand to alternatively prepare coffee with fresh whipped cream.
Ambiance
The Forsthaus Telegraph is modern, however it has many rustic features and original features.
Cleanliness
The modern toilets and the guest rooms were spotlessly.
Location
The Forsthaus Telegraph lies south of the runways of Cologne-Bonn airport (CGN), on the edge of the military restricted area, in the "Kaiserforst" at Wahner Heide. I did not hear the airport, not even on the outside Terrace. The environment is quiet and green.
The Forsthaus Telegraph deserves an almost unqualified recommendation.

I don't understand why TA indicates that this is a Thai reastaurant..... It is very German and very good. It is not a typical restaturant, as it also have a good barsccene. There is a small, monthly changing menu with some typical German dishes. They are cooked to perfection. I took the steak and that was thick and juicy. It came with a nice salad and nice chips. I t was too much to take a dessert as well, but I will certainly come back her. A small negative point was that I could not pay by credit card and not even by bank card. I notice this is quite a few restaurants in Germany. Why is that?? they must have some trust in the banking system!

A very nicely located restaurant, although I think it is even nicer in the summer.
They have a good choise of wine of which many are sold by the glass. You can opt for eating tapas or select a starter-main course from the menu.
I tried some of the tapas and a salad and both did not disappoint me.

A colleague took me here recently and I was not disappointed. We started with bread and a plate of several dips. The beetroot one is out of this world. They just kept bringing bread. I then had the Adana kebab with Yogurt. The mean was very tasty and the sauce was outstanding. A great range of mixed Pilsner including Fanta and Cola. Tried the Fanta Radler not my cup of tea. Service was attentive and very pleaseant. We then walked into the centre for a final beer.

On our way back home (two families with children (4-9yrs)) we were looking for a good restaurant for a decent meal. We found it in this local, cozy, familiary and good restaurant! Very good food (very nice home made chicken nuggets for the kids and especially the jagerschnitzel is recommended!), friendly owner and waiters who made us feel very welcome. Very good price-quality ratio. Perfect spot for a good meal, I would surely recommend this restaurant!

Lousy service,
Loud environment.
No food!!
Bad experience
That sums it up pretty well since it's common curtesy to inform your persumed clients on the insane waiting time to get dinner before making them sit by the bar with a drink in their hand.

Spending one night close to the airport Köln/Bonn we came to this restaurant after having a look at TA reviews.
We enjoyed a good dinner for a correct amount of money spent: aperitif/Hugo,open white and red wine, espresso....with two main dishes and one appetizer for 80 Euros.
Amuse-bouche was complimentary and tasted nice: home made bread with an innovative spread.
The Argentinian beef with fried onions was delicious as well as the fish fillet:"cabillaud" with tomato risotto and green asparagus.
The restaurant is located in a quiet surrounding, no problem to find a parking place.
Better call for a reservation to be sure to have a table.
Compliments also for the quick and friendly service.
