The most spectacular waterfall in Europe! Imagine having almost Niagara Waterfalls in the middle of medieval town, the ancient Bosnian royal capital. Access to the platform from which one may watch the waterfall from under costs 2 KM - but it is worth paying. Go to the view point on the hill opposite it too.

Small, charming Watermills built in surprisingly beautiful peace of nature. If you are looking for a pick-nick place, a nature getaway not far from Jajce, pack your bags and head hear. It does not have much of supporting content itself, only nature, but you can find a hotel and a restaurant nearby and a auto camp, if you are looking for more. Watermills are a chance for a zen moment and eye relaxation, and if you are looking for wally ball, tennis, biking and more, just go down the road.

Near the town of Jajce (the historical capital of the country), there is a zone, where there is a very beautiful lake. It is a popular zone of locals, where you do a pic-nic while you see the fantastic views of the lake and the Mountains. Really, it is so nice and a perfect site to relax in summer. Moreover, near here, there is also a popular pic-nic zone with Watermills, where you can see great views of old Watermills. A very good recommendable place, if you go to Jajce.

Hilltop Castles and fortresses are always somewhat interesting, in the sense that they give you a good idea just how important physical security must have been to those living in Europe in the Middle Ages. Unfortunately, this is not one of the best examples. Perhaps additional excavation and some better signage will make a difference.

AVNOJ museum is the museum of the Anti-Fascist Council of National Liberation of Yugoslavia (2nd World War) located in the town of Jajce (the historical capital of the country). Jajce was the place, where partisans, with General Tito, decided how the country would be. The AVNOJ Museum is located in the building, where the partisans met. In fact, as you can read, this country was also very important in the 20th century. So, that if you are a history-lover, it is one of the most important places in Bosnia&Herzegovina (and ex-Yugoslavia) in the 2nd World War. Moreover, the exposition is very interesting to learn about the history of the modern country and the partisans. Also the building is very degraded and old, so that the whole (exposition + facilities) does you remember other times.

Catacomb of Jajce are a very important historical and archeological sight, with a very old historical roots. You will be amazed how much these Catacombs hide within itself, and it shows how far can humans go in order to protect their right to practice religion. It is also a very important place for the medieval history of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since it's very cold in there, do take some thicker clothes.

Jajce - with 29 national monuments we can say for sure „Museum under the open sky“. It is adorned with beautiful landscape and rich past whose traces we can see today in old core of the town. Rivers Pliva and Vrbas are united by a beautiful waterfall, the only one in the world that is located in the center of the town.
We are not disappointed because of the town,it is quite beautiful but because we are cheated by the locals..Between Travnik and Jajce, we bought 2 kg's of honey, when we came home we saw it is sugar with food coloring..I wrote right away to the tourist info e mails from Travnik and Jajce giving the coordinates of this cheater, both tourist offices didnt even bother to write us one sentence..I would never visit and would not recommend anyone..They have to get rid of their cheaters first..

Ethnograpic Museum is a museum located in Jajce (the historical capital of the country), where you can learn about the customs and the kind of life of people, who lived in this region. The museum is little and pitifully there ar not too much things. But, you can go visit the Mitrej (a roman temple, located near the museum) with the staff. The girl, who accompanied us to visit the temple, was very friendly and nice and she explained us the experience of this family in the Balcan War, when she was not born (she was 18 years old more or less). More interesting the visit to the temple and the conversation with the girl than the museum.

We visited Jajce as a team building event. We really enjoyed with Aida and her interesting stories about city and surroundings. Jajce is a small city but has reach history and Aida knows how to present it and keep your attention. Recommended!
