We have visited Haliburton wolves during Family Day weekend on February 16, 2018.
We spent whole day as we wanted to see the wolves. And finally at the very end of the day they briefly showed up. They are gorgeous!
Now a few things you need to know. There is a fee to enter this location around $15 and the place itself is beautiful and very informative. It is a small museum of nature.
The fact if you see the wolves it is a pure luck as they live wild and not always show up. As I mentioned above we waited whole day from the time the center was open.
There is a washroom and a shop where you can buy different souvenirs.
Definitely worth visiting!

The Haliburton Sculpture Forest and trail located in Gebe Park, adjacent to Fleming College - Haliburton Campus, is operated by a non-profit organization and open to the public at N/C.
The Haliburton Sculpture Forest includes 30+ unique, original sculptures and pieces of art created by both local and well-known sculptors and artists. The pieces are located with the forested area of Gebe Park and connected via easy trails. No special footwear is necessary.
The scupltures incorporate various media - some carved from granite, others shaped with metal, a few cast in concrete, ... A trail map and brochure are available at the entrance of the park.
The art itself is fascinating, beautiful, diverse, truly Canadian themed, and wonderfully incorporated into the forest and trail system.

We have been going to Sir Sam's for the past 5 years and we keep returning. This place is never overcrowded and if you are renting the equipment, there is always friendly staff to assist you. The prices are very reasonable and we always spend more than half of what we spend at Blue Mountain.
We have started buying our tickets online and we usually pay around $35 per person for 1 day pass.
The cafeteria has a plenty of delicious selections. The only issue is that people occupy all tables leaving their personal items for the entire day. Most of these people bring their own food and drinks and do not purchase anything at the cafeteria. This is not fair for other guests and the management will need to set some rules.
There are also many nice accommodations nearby and the whole setting is very beautiful. Occasionally you might see deer and foxes running across the ski hill.
We look forward to our next trip to Sir Sam's.

What an absolutely breath taking view. The fall colours were exceptional, wow! Pictures just does not do it justice. You need to see it in person.

What a beautiful Spot! The only remaining log Chute in Ontario is a wonderful piece of history with an interpretive kiosk which details the history of the logging industry in Northern Ontario. Take a picnic and hike the trail. It was worth the drive.

We drove out of our way along nice back roads from Haliburton to do this hike. It was about a mile in and then you get to a narrow river running down through stages of rapids. Some nice spots to sit on the rocks and take it al in or just relax. Opportunity to swim.

After walking through the Sculpture Forest we saw that the Museum was open so popped in. Although small it does have nice artifacts and the gentlemen there was very informative on whatever you wished to know more about

Very nice place to visit behind the main street of Haliburton village. Excellent display of well-known local painters, photographers, sculptors and craft artists, some of whom are instructors at the Haliburton School of Arts and Design.Interesting place to pick up different arts type souvenirs.
