Serving up authentic #myhaliburtonhighlands hospitality since 1986. Fully licensed by AGCO, rooftop smoke-free Patio, capacity of 200+ Flavorful food, true hospitality from a Team that earnestly welcomes you.
1) above average kitchen staff with well prepared/tasty meals and attentive service - I had the Strip Steak which was cooked to med-rare and delicious, almost tasted aged? - unusual for a pub
2) spacious upper floor venue with a lively central bar and water view deck
3) thoughtful servers - they save a lost infants glove for our child
Enjoy !!

This charming spot was recommended by the very helpful lady in the local Tourist Information Office so we drove by to make a reservation. The paddle board event meant a large and I imagine noisy party Saturday so we booked for quiet Sunday evening. The restaurant is part of a large log cabin structure and could be described as quaint and comfortable, sits right by the lake with wonderful evening views across to Wigamog Inn which might have seen happier days. The food was excellent.

Here at the Maple we offer casual dining in a warm and relaxing environment. We can arrange private event parties for small groups up to approximately 50 people. We have a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu as well as an assortment of fabulous appetizers. Andy ( chef & owner ) also has Korean Night ( monthly during the winter ) where he offers a 3 course special menu meal that is always Fabulous ! We also have a small patio where you can sit out and enjoy your meal or beverage in the warm summer months.
We had lunch here after being at Halliburton forest. The service was nice, and the food was pretty good. I enjoyed my burger, but the atmosphere was a little strange. It was a little run down on the inside.

Check out the new vibe at Highlanders Bar! With its impressive slate bar top, wall of windows, sunny patio, stone fireplace and terrific food, it’s no wonder Highlanders Bar keeps people coming back. Daily specials, a full lunch and dinner menu, fun theme nights, live entertainment, billiards, flatscreens, cozy chairs and funky music make it a hip gathering place for friends, family and colleagues. Opens at 11am Monday to Saturday and 1:00pm on Sundays.
Place was hopping. Ladies golf tournament dinner. Service was a little slow but understandable. First day on the job , our server Kathryn was great. Friendly but professional. Ambiance always good. Now for the food. Excellent wings. Pleased much. Recommend this venue and the whole Pinestone package.

I had read reviews. Always good "Chinese" food in rural northern Ontario.
GREAT egg roll. Best ever. Good Wonton and Sweet and Sour Soups.
Lemon chicken, too much friend batter chicken. Beef and broccoli was good. We ordered three dishes for two, plus fried rice and got through half of it.
Food was pretty good but overpriced. Also not thrilled after I put a cash tip down for the young student waitress but the owner snached it up. She'll probably never see it. My wife said I should have put it in her hand.
Oh well.

Upscale casual restaurant and microbrewery in beautiful cottage country on the shores of Mirror lake
This was our first visit to Rhubarb and won’t be our last! We arrived about 30 minutes before our reservation and much to our surprise, our table was ready. My husband and I ordered the mussels to start while our friends had the escargot. The mussels were just ok.. but the escargot was fantastic. For dinner we ordered the schnitzel, a steak and the vegetarian phyllo dish. We all enjoyed our meals thoroughly and the portions were generous. Our server was extremely friendly and very attentive. We enjoyed the fireplace and the atmosphere of this restaurant. We will definitely return!

My husband and I stopped at Baked and Battered following a dog walk around Head Lake during an unseasonably hot Sunday afternoon in September. We sat at the picnic tables to settle in, while our dog relaxed at our feet - water bowl for him was considerately available for him.
The concept of separate entrances for baked goods/coffee/sandwiches versus fish&chips/fries was an interesting concept but required separate orders, given one of us wanted salad & Baked good while the other (me) wanted fish tacos on the battered side. We made the order and waited for the food to come out to us. The fish tacos arrived in short order, but the salad was forgotten about until we reminded the staff (which then was missing the bacon and cheese). The fish tacos were excellent - made to order and lovely flavours. As for baked goods, there is wonderful variety of bars and tarts - we chose a treacle tart to share. So overall we had a lovely lunch, save the error with the salad. The staff apologized and offered my husband a free coffee. Great food and concept, just a bit confusing in execution. Lovely spot all the same!

Have been going to Haliburton for years - we have a cottage there but first time into Kozy Korner. And we've now been twice. Last time we all had the Turkey pot pie - recommended by our waitress. Home made, fresh roasted Turkey prepared daily. It was terrific. Our waitress was great. It'll be a place to go to from now on. Not big on looks, not high end food but good home cooking. Highly recommend.
