A lovely walk with breathtaking scenery. Had a pusher and was no problem. So many photo opportunities and so tranquil. A lovely surprise to find a little cafe to refresh before heading back. We left from near the bridge in the Main Street, we weren’t sure where to leave from but this turned out perfect. Well worth doing.

Sat outside on the balcony and enjoyed the vast views and the activity on the wharf. Service was very fast and the waitresses most friendly. Breakfast and the shakes were excellent. Hard to imagine a better place in Merimbula for at least breakfast. The same could probably be said for lunch and dinner.

Enjoy a full day of Rides, thrills and spills at Merimbula's iconic family fun park. Magic Mountain gives enjoyment to every generation and is best to be experienced by the whole family. We have a Roller Coaster, Toboggan, Miniature Grand prix, Water slides and the brand new Tube Rider and so much more for those who like to keep their feet on the ground. Anyone who likes a little more excitement Magic Mountain has just the thing. Magic Mountain's Tree Climb Challenge is action packed, with 11 zip lines over 30 challenges spread over three tree top courses. If your family are up for an adventure or if mum and dad want to relax in a place where the kids can run wild in a safe secure environment Magic Mountain is just where you need to be.
The all day pass is not cheap at $38 per child and $45 per adult. That said, the kids were on the go for the whole three hours we were there. There isn't a huge range of rides/activities but there is something for everyone.
Other reviews mentioned the food being very expensive but we saw burgers for $8.50 which didn't seem too bad given location. We ate beforehand and had ice creams while there. Beware they have a $10 minimum for EFTPOS so best to take cash.
Have fun on the rollercoaster....

Many iconic native animals to be seen and close up Encounters can be booked. See website for more information.
As two animal loving adults we absolutely loved Potoroo Palace. You can see the devotion to the animals & overall betterment of our environment. We had a cuddle with two orphaned wombats & learned a lot from the lovely Alexandra. The cafe had delicious food options & the atmosphere of the whole place was friendly & relaxed. We didn't want to leave!

I have travelled most parts of our beautiful country and I am always drawn back to the coast lines. Every where you travel produces a different beach and surrounding environment. Ben Boyd is named after a famous Scottish Entrepreneur and Investor. His vision of what is now the Saphire Coat was famous and sometimes infamous. He had a very interesting life. This coast line is a sea side explorers haven. Surf Beaches with dramatic rock formations, calm bays and inlets and of course the fishing and Surfing. The walks to the beach are relatively easy and can be found on locally supplied maps. There are many types of flora and native animals along the way to photograph or just watch in their natural environment. Saying that. Leave not nothing but foot prints and stay to the tracks. Most car parks have rubbish points.
